- mrevaaaaa, on 10/31/2008, -15/+94Hilary, BITCH.
Definitely the best one. - BXRWXR, on 10/31/2008, -7/+6626 clicks?
Sorry, not interested. - AdeleMor, on 10/30/2008, -1/+38I love the Keith Richards one. Hilarious.
- mrDanielC, on 10/31/2008, -0/+33a Slideshow should only reload the actual images NOT the entire website and all the other crap on there.
- beccadarby, on 10/31/2008, -1/+26I liked the Bill Clinton one: GROPE.
- ryan850, on 10/31/2008, -4/+27Buried because when people say something about mccain winning a piece of my soul breaks off and dies.
- Nick217, on 10/30/2008, -13/+35i wonder if the "Cope" poster will come out if McCain wins?
- kimbja98, on 10/31/2008, -1/+19*Cough*
http://barackbar.com/img/barackbar.jpg - Archer007, on 10/31/2008, -0/+17Grope.
- WiretapStudios, on 10/31/2008, -3/+1926 pages is stupid. It's like having a restaurant menu with one item per page and being 26 pages long. The most annoying part is that they are large so you have to scroll down after each click. I don't really mind a few clicks if the page itself doesn't have to refresh.
- twiztidsinz, on 10/31/2008, -5/+21MORE COWBELL!
- RileyCourage, on 10/30/2008, -1/+17Bob Hope. Love it!
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -1/+16Dugg for Mavis Beacon.
- ironicsans, on 10/31/2008, -0/+15That's my Luke Skywalker "New Hope" mashup. It made the front page of Digg last month, but it was a direct link to the image so I got no credit and no web page hits. Now the Village Voice includes it prominently in their slideshow, and they give me no credit and no link to my website. So forgive me if I feel the need to self-promote:
Once and for all, the original post is here: http://www.ironicsans.com/2008/09/in_a_political_c ...
T-shirts and Posters are available (with the blessings of both Lucasfilm and Shepard Fairey) here: http://www.zazzle.com/a_new_hope_shirt-23587953622 ... - rblancarte, on 10/31/2008, -0/+14Dugg for Vampire Palin.
- Kromel, on 10/31/2008, -3/+16Aye, I'm clicking along the pics thinking that they were alright, then I saw the Hilary pic. Definitely got a chuckle from me.
- dxgg, on 10/31/2008, -1/+13> I fail at photoshop
Yup. You sure do. - Hodor, on 10/31/2008, -0/+11grrr. digg for the posters or bury for the FRIGGIN SLIDESHOW?!
- Spart666, on 10/31/2008, -1/+11the cheech and chong one should have said TOKE
- inactive, on 10/31/2008, -3/+13Those look like Lenin posters from back in the day.
- janinekahn, on 10/30/2008, -1/+11I think there's a Nader one somewhere out there. Dugg for POPE!
- TheKingInYellow, on 10/31/2008, -2/+11by putting them on multiple pages they make more money on ad views.
here's the original (and growing daily) collection:

- TheKingInYellow, on 10/31/2008, -2/+11how does something submitted 17 days ago not get the digg public's attention?

http://www.posterpage.ch/exhib/ex216oba/ex216oba.h ... - algaeturd, on 10/31/2008, -7/+16Just goes to show how easy it is to recreate Fairey's work with a photoshop filter and a copy of Illustrator.
- shadowman99, on 10/31/2008, -5/+14I voted early in Omaha Nebraska. At the Douglas County Election Commissioner's office (Omaha metro area) there were ~150 people in line extending around the parking lot. By the time I reached the front door there were another ~150 people behind me in line. When I finally saw inside the front door of the office there were roughly 100 people inside waiting for ballots, voting, getting ballots certified, and placing the ballots in a strongbox.
I was told by one of the staffers that 36,000 people had gone though the office already since early voting had begun.
Now image how much busier Tuesday will be next week. This was Omaha Nebraska. How long will the lines be in a larger city? How long will the lines be in your city?
I would urge people to vote early in this election. Don't take the chance of not getting to vote because your line was too long and the polls closed..
Take an hour or two and vote today. - TheKingInYellow, on 10/31/2008, -0/+8here's an idea...DON'T USE PHOTOSHOP...illustrator is obviously the weapon of choice here.
- Casty, on 10/31/2008, -0/+8Amazing.
- ElderBieler, on 10/31/2008, -3/+11Funny. Hilary has THE EXACT SAME policies as Obama. Yet you guys hate her because she's a chick with power and a stern look.
- johnsweber, on 10/31/2008, -0/+7Or it could of been how she repeatedly said Barack Obama did nothing more than give a speech at DNC in his career.
But now she thinks he's magically qualified, yay. No hard feelings. - kplo, on 04/01/2009, -0/+7I liked the Bob Hope one myself. I had a weird double take. I was like, "There's Bob Hope. Cool. I wonder what word they'll use."
- kenedamick, on 10/31/2008, -0/+7***** brilliant.
- wunksta, on 10/31/2008, -1/+8http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc237/robotpand ...
- AdeleMor, on 10/31/2008, -2/+8Hey Hetman: Shepard Fairey's whole design aesthetic for the last 5-8 years has been a riff on Russian propaganda. Nobody said he was making Led Zeppelin socialist when he designed this album cover:
http://www.brainaideddesign.com/blog/wp-content/up ...
Or Johnny Cash for that matter when he did the "Ring of Fire" movie poster:
http://www.brainaideddesign.com/blog/wp-content/up ... - NeoNcP, on 10/31/2008, -0/+6soup nazi made it worth the clicks
- alex361, on 10/31/2008, -1/+7Probably because most of them suck.
- Hetman, on 10/31/2008, -1/+7The difference is one is a politician and the others are bands. I personally do not really care that much. But if someone is trying to link your candidate with socialism and communism, maybe you should chose something that looks less like communist propoganda.
- Hetman, on 10/31/2008, -0/+6Chicago has early voting. I have voted, and i know many people who has voted early. When I went the line was maybe 15 mintues. I dunno how many people went through but it was going at a pretty steady rate. Early voting is awesome. It like it because our company gives you the election day off, so now I can just chill on tuesday instead of dealing with everyone voting.
- inside610, on 10/31/2008, -0/+6Loved the Skywalker one!!!
- harharharhar, on 10/31/2008, -1/+6Personally, I love the Alfred E. Neumann cover spoof. So classic!
- allaboutdatiki, on 10/31/2008, -1/+6Posterization FTW!
- WiretapStudios, on 10/31/2008, -3/+8You can also recreate a Jackson Pollack with ease...your point?
- jthei, on 10/31/2008, -0/+5Movie's called walk the line, bruh, wrong song.
- TheKingInYellow, on 10/31/2008, -0/+5@nmnnotmyname:
i'm an old man (30) and set in my ways; i'm not about to attempt to learn a new software. i can run circles around anyone with PS and AI (and AE) because i've been using the software for the past 10 to 12 years. live trace is good when you're in a jam and you have a high enough res pic to work with but i'm so comfortable with the pen tool it's not even funny. - inactive, on 10/31/2008, -1/+6No she doesn't.
Also, she's a bitch. - sheepster, on 10/31/2008, -0/+5soup nazi ftw!
- Fogdelune, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4The expression on his face really made that one.
- thegamingguy, on 10/30/2008, -0/+4haha the Hope one was pretty sweet, it took me a second too.
- artfiend77, on 10/31/2008, -0/+4Victor...it's Victor Von Doom.
