- LiamIsOnFire, on 07/30/2008, -1/+26Oh baby these are some sexy rock balancing photos.
- ADIDAS247, on 07/31/2008, -1/+24This is so old, it's been around for like 4.5 billion years
- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -1/+22I've seen a guy who does this near downtown detroit (Belle Isle), a hippie dude from Ann Arbor who spends hours setting this up. The patience it takes is quite impressive.
- RATM4EVER, on 07/31/2008, -0/+17You should really make an effort to entertain her...especially on your vacations.
- Biggityb78, on 07/30/2008, -0/+15Those are some great pictures! Balance artists though lol?
- Puttzy, on 07/31/2008, -0/+11Watch his videos to see how he does it.

- manzplan, on 07/31/2008, -2/+9My wife does this all the time when we go on Holiday, or on trips.
- lucy22, on 07/31/2008, -1/+6They are quite artistic in the presentation. Rocks can be interesting, who knew!
- aliweb, on 07/31/2008, -0/+5wow never seen anything like that...very interesting
- inactive, on 07/31/2008, -1/+6very cool...
- noobifiggah, on 07/31/2008, -0/+5It's stuff like this that make me feel like I haven't accomplished anything cool with my life...
- gn0stik, on 07/31/2008, -1/+5especially if you're stoned. Then it's really solid.
- Puttzy, on 07/31/2008, -0/+4Why? Did I miss a picture of a floating rock, not being pulled down by gravity?
- pirlok, on 07/30/2008, -0/+4crazy rocks.. try moving them around when you're drunk.
- djlethal, on 07/31/2008, -0/+4pics or it didn't happen
- gutterboy, on 07/31/2008, -0/+4Out of all the god awful ***** fest galleries and photos that make it to the front page of digg I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this link was. The sense of tension and proportion in some of these photos is amazing. Things that balance in defiance of logic get my rocks off.
- lostsymphonies1, on 07/31/2008, -0/+4Surprisingly interesting
- cynicalbrit94, on 07/31/2008, -1/+5Some of this shows, how messed up physics is. The rest of them are swans.
- billbugger, on 07/31/2008, -0/+4No F in Way!
- Craftybadger, on 07/31/2008, -0/+3How professional can rock balancing get...?
- maldovix, on 07/31/2008, -0/+3I think these are all done in the bay area, no?
- gn0stik, on 07/31/2008, -0/+3You gotta really have the stones for it.
- darthjure, on 07/31/2008, -0/+3You can actually become a "professional" rock balancer?
- antdude, on 07/31/2008, -0/+3I see what you did there.
- Pusod, on 07/31/2008, -1/+4They put just a little bit of sand or dirt at the base for support. Try balancing an egg on its smaller end with some table salt...that's pretty much how it works.
- charm803, on 07/31/2008, -0/+3Rocks. Is there anything they CAN'T do?
- inactive, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2Sing me lullabies before I go to sleep. :(
- SkippyDoorknob, on 07/31/2008, -1/+3*Apache Chief grows into a giant*
- SpectralSounds, on 07/31/2008, -0/+2Reminded me of Rush's 'Test for Echo' album.
- gn0stik, on 07/31/2008, -0/+2You start... balancing.... rocks? I would guess?
Maybe you start small with pebbles... then stones? - Balk2K, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2Well, Bradley, your career placement test results are in. Have you considered a career in the fast-paced world of professional rock balancing?
- bebalance, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqjP6czoLxs - by the way I am the Guy You are talking about - PEACE
- asskicker32, on 07/31/2008, -0/+2I like watchign the guy stack them. Interesting stuff... Most of these are in Sausalito, right on the water. You can always find several already stacked when you get down there.
- FallOutBoyTonto, on 07/31/2008, -3/+5Meh - Inuit have been stacking rocks for quite a while! (Inukshuks)
- Brododium, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2I get my rocks off to this sort of thing.
- castletech, on 07/31/2008, -0/+2Do you need a license to balance rocks professionally?
- redux2redux, on 07/31/2008, -0/+2I can do that, in Photoshop... :-/
Most impressive are the Calif. ones where the ground shakes every so often! - Thrilltone, on 07/31/2008, -0/+2We just took a Kindergarten class to visit one of these wonderful displays.
Unfortunately, most of them were killed by falling rocks. - jjlee, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1http://www.rockstacker.com
- inigomntoya, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1No - but some hallucinogens come to mind...
- Heretushi, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1He sure can balance rocks, but he's no photographer. Some of the pics are just plain awful.
- bebalance, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1My name is Bill Dan - I am the Rocks Balancing Artist "in Questions" . . . .starting Balancing Rocks since 1994 -ever since having a hard time to explain the process to the non believer [ You should see My email daily - mostly negative]. All I can say, go to the main link on My flickr site [ http://flickr.com/photos/rocker ] - I have linked up some work on videos : youtube [ http://youtube.com/bebalance ], photobucket, jumpcut, as well as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Dan
- Cryptoprocta, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1THAT'S SO CRAZY! A ROCK ON A ROCK... on a rock... on a rock... wait why is this so cool?
- mrgreenjeans, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1You've seen one rock balanced on another, you've seen them all.
- Wakkyweed, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1Fake! Those rocks were obviously stuck together with scotch tape.
- vcleniuk, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1Impressive. These pictures are calming and relaxing in an odd way.
- PabloMac, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1Yes, so many of them are ever so slightly out of focus.
