        In other words they are replacing an old pipe by just putting the new pipe inside it.

        I found it rather amusing to be honest.

As far as I can remember, I have not enjoyed one of their comics for a long while, and from the usual comments I'm not alone in thinking this, but if one amuses me I will dig it, because that's...well, that's the point of digg.

      I buried this because I thought it sucked; don't want to ruin-the-joke-by-analysing it, but jokes about the "difference between men and women" is the fodder of chain-emails. The first comment on this page isn't saying DON'T digg this, it's saying ONLY digg it if you think it's funny. How is that hypocrisy?

        I agree that XKCD strips should not be submitted/upvoted simply because it's XKCD, it should only happen when the person submitting/voting thinks that it's really the cat's pajamas.

        I happened to find this one terribly clever, because like just about everyone else in my generation, there was one night when I was tired and working on something and in the back of my head, I had a vague plan to download a pizza when I was done. It's one of those semi-conscious ideas that doesn't survive actual concentration, but can float around unmolested by critical thought for a while until then. Kinda like Racheal Ray on the Food Network. She seems pleasant until you actually watch her show, then you realize that she's a talentless hack.

If he wanted to 'go along', he'd take your view (which is the view of the majority on digg and certainly in the world). XKCD is not always funny to everyone; this comic is hysterical to networking guys; others are about romance; still others about sci-fi.

        I like most XKCD but many of the CS ones are so far over my head as to not be funny. He makes comics about a large array of subjects and you aren't the target audience of every comic. Chill out and let the people who like them enjoy it.
