- itsJALbert, on 09/15/2008, -3/+89The flower on the wall is by Banksy, I believe.
- geekchic, on 09/15/2008, -1/+41Not only by Banksy, but in London (UK) - not Montreal.
- GB570, on 09/15/2008, -1/+37meep meep
- takamichinaku, on 09/15/2008, -4/+39PLEASE PROVIDE LINK TO ORIGINAL SOURCE
http://www.roadsworth.com/main/index.php?x=browse& ... - yrub, on 09/15/2008, -9/+43The flower is Banksy... buried as inaccurate.
also buried for being MrBabyMan, yanno - tm13lke, on 09/15/2008, -4/+25Awesome paintings, but I don't know how I'd feel about a double yellow line leading me into a wall.
- thinboyslim, on 09/15/2008, -2/+15The sunflower in Pollard Street ain't his.
- Stevethegreat, on 09/15/2008, -5/+17Isn't that illegal? I mean obscuring roads' markings can potentially lead to accident, no?
- GorfTron, on 09/15/2008, -2/+11Needs a Goatse.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -0/+7In New York City, we pay "artists" millions of dollars to dump pieces of rusted, twisted metal into our parks and call them "sculptures."
We should start paying this guy to paint our streets. - stevenbrown, on 09/15/2008, -3/+9Holy Crap - Mrbabyman submitted a toxel story? Dosnt that other dude do that?
- dchaosdx, on 09/15/2008, -0/+5agreed. it's kind of hard to like other street art when you've seen the amazingness of banksy.
- thinboyslim, on 09/15/2008, -0/+5Is this a Peter Gibson website or is it just some article/fan site, in which case people need to get their facts straight.
- Lunarsight, on 09/15/2008, -0/+5Yeah - I was thinking that when I saw a few of the images. I still like the artwork, though.
- Samsauce, on 09/15/2008, -4/+8Banksy flower shot was the only good one. Rest sucked.
- wiirdo, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3Nice blue underwear, dude.
- dsmx, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3That was in the UK the double yellow line is used for something entirely different.
- padiq, on 09/15/2008, -2/+5It would all confuse me!
- ktran28, on 09/16/2008, -0/+3buried for being submitted by mrbabyman.
- indubitably, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3that's also a banksy
- hitokiri808, on 09/16/2008, -0/+3burried for being old as *****, and for being resubmitted by mrbabyman
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -7/+10Buried for inaccurate and Babyspam. Some of the work is definitely BANKSY, a BRITISH artist. The flower is one of his most famous pieces and can be found on an ENGLISH wall. I can't believe this guy is claiming Banksy's original artwork as his own, what a fake.
Here is Banksy's New Orleans artwork from his official website:
http://www.banksy.co.uk/outdoors/horizontal_1.htm - bobbknight, on 09/15/2008, -0/+31980's computer clip art on a road.
Hummmmm. - reinlady, on 09/15/2008, -0/+3Come on, that's unfair to call Gibson/Roadsworth a fake or a thief or what-have-you; the toxel link that Babyman provided is not Gibson's own website. Some other person created that list and threw Banksy's Pollard St. artwork in, for some reason known only to them.
Gibson's own website is here: http://www.roadsworth.com/main/index.php?x=browse& ... and there is definitely no Banksy artwork included :)
That being said, I don't know how the list compiler managed to confuse Gibson and Banksy's artwork. Stencils aside, they're stylistically quite distinct. - wassim2k, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2meh. kind of unimaginative.
- BruB, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2Dugg for a Montreal Artist!!
- mythicflux, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2The site has an update attributing the flower as being by Banksy.
- Rhodamine, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2I also dug this better article submitted later in the day
http://digg.com/arts_culture/Tribute_To_Graffiti_5 ...
I've seen MrBabyMan (or some other top user) submit that same old list every couple of months. The point here is to source fresh new and interesting material. Not just pander for diggs. Who does that help, the user or the community? - t4stringer, on 09/16/2008, -0/+2wow, these are amazing!
- ultraseamus, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2Do I sense a reference to "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"... no, its just me then? Damn kids and their fancy special effect movies.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -4/+6a lot of those are very "eh"
- redscofield, on 09/15/2008, -1/+3it feels too copycat-ish...
- GeorgeStone2, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2Yeah, he tries to take credit from a world famous street artist who is almost a household name.... Come on guys. It's obvious it's the site owners fault. Not the artist.
- centerax, on 09/16/2008, -0/+2AWESOME! really good stuff
- simplyarun, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2Anyway, even roads can be a great medium for self expression.
- Rhodamine, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2and so I did.
- black27696, on 09/15/2008, -0/+2Gibson is an awesome artist, and this isn't his site, and he wouldn't take credit for someone else because he doesn't need to. Accusing people of something when you have zero evidence is lame.
- JoeVerrone, on 09/15/2008, -2/+4This is just some ***** vandalizing streets.
- inactive, on 09/15/2008, -3/+4realy awesome, I like it but buried it!
- abajaj2280, on 09/15/2008, -1/+2you aren't supposed to bury the user, you're supposed to bury the article.
- soopertoll, on 09/15/2008, -1/+2Awesome first comment on the site:
«this makes me happy about the human race» - abajaj2280, on 09/15/2008, -3/+4you aren't supposed to bury the user, you're supposed to bury the article.
- dudio, on 09/15/2008, -1/+2I dunno, but I wasn't impressed. There have been some awesome
collections posted before that are far more talented. These ones
(although fairly creative) are lack-lustre and appear to be done
with stencils and cheap paint. - ericember, on 09/18/2008, -1/+2dug because this kind of art is always funny till someone looses and eye

http://www.thegluckmethod.com - jadore0princess, on 09/15/2008, -0/+1this is awesome!
love it! - shurikenfreak, on 09/16/2008, -0/+1Sounds like Obama's wife!
- Chickenlip, on 09/15/2008, -1/+2Why are we promoting vandalism? Buried!
