PARK(ing) Day's goal: a greener city
tucsoncitizen.com — Grass will grow at some metered parking spaces downtown and in the University of Arizona area Sept. 19 as Tucson joins cities around the world in taking National PARK(ing) Day to the streets. The objective is to put money in the meter then build a tiny park in the parking space to raise awareness of the importance of parks in urban areas.
