Ottawa axes PromArt arts travel program
nationalpost.com — The Harper government is shutting down the DFAIT's program for helping Canadian artists and intellectuals travel abroad to promote Canadian culture. Seems they don't like supporting *****, Avi Lewis, or Tal Bachman. The Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Canadian Museum of Civilization, and Supreme Court Justice Bastarache are other recent fund recipients.
