- inactive, on 07/06/2009, -1/+12That's not a very impressive effect to be honest. To me it just looks like someone wrote up a bunch of text and then used the shape as a mask for a black and white image of Michael Jackson.
- Devine122, on 07/05/2009, -2/+13It looks like it's just a regular portrait with translucent text on top of it.. Good pic though.

- walruspanzer, on 07/05/2009, -4/+9Fare thee well sweet prince!
- AndrewDB, on 07/06/2009, -2/+6These aren't hard to do at all.
http://www.photo2text.com/ and http://text-image.com/ will even do one for you. - Inceptious, on 07/06/2009, -0/+3thats not a text portrait. ***** you! I could do that ***** in photoshop in 2 minutes. step 1. copy and paste some text. then select alll the text then delete it to reveal the layer behind it (the image).
not only are the letters all different colours, the individual letters arn't actually the same colour (ie, top part is gret, bottom part black). - Narcism, on 07/06/2009, -0/+3Wow, white stretched text with a desaturated image set as "Overlay" in Photoshop.
- coral, on 07/06/2009, -1/+4No.
Buried! - thechuckknoblog, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1Read it you turd.

It is also a life story - appleseed1234, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1hee-hee!
- Puppetfunk, on 07/06/2009, -2/+3Silly rabbit! That's not Prince! It's Michael Jackson!
- kylere, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1Child Molester portraits for the lose.
- detales, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1Holy *****, look at all the award spam on his comments section. It looks like a Geocities clipart site from the mid 90's.
- Zippo, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1Not that impressive seeing as it's just a greyscale image overlayed on text. When you do an image in text, each letter should be a solid colour.
- okonisfree, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1ditto
- detales, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1I ended up reading the entire text, which is a pretty standard bio of his musical career, not much about his personal life. Not even a mention of child molestation.
I probably should have just read wikipedia. - starcasm, on 07/06/2009, -1/+1I saw this and decided I would try one myself. It was a little tricky but not too bad. (That was before the helpful link by AndrewDB) Here's what I came up with:

Here's a guy that's been doing it a while - he gets all "fancy" with blurring the text:

- BETRAMS, on 07/06/2009, -9/+8Guys shut the ***** about about Michael Jackson. Its ***** pathetic.

- tonychenyj, on 07/06/2009, -5/+2Dugg for Jacko. There is actually a software can creature these kind of images. Nice one anyway.
- mrpunman, on 07/06/2009, -6/+2A picture is worth a thousand words
