- inactive, on 07/04/2009, -1/+7I love the colour in those first few photographs, every decade (roughly) had their unique colour in photos and TV from the technicolour 50's to the washed out 80's it gives photos a time capsule feel, that and the fashions on display.
- inactive, on 07/04/2009, -0/+5Hi troll, are you drunk?
- inactive, on 07/04/2009, -1/+6I don't understand your sentence.
- zyklon, on 07/04/2009, -0/+4Not sure those were fireworks, bro.
- 360photo, on 07/04/2009, -0/+3Holy crap thats a lot of virus links, a note to camera nerds..do not click
- Xiefer, on 07/04/2009, -1/+4When I saw the 8th picture, the first thing that came to mind was Bioshock.
- mathyu21, on 07/04/2009, -0/+3Happy Birthday America!

- magneteye, on 07/04/2009, -3/+6Some nice vintage shots in here. I am not sure why the Native American is celebrating though.
- FishThePirate, on 07/04/2009, -1/+3I thought the same thing about the native american picture. Smells like propaganda. Er...I mean "public relations".
- sulthernao, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2LOL. The 50s were the age of McCarthyism and the height of stereotypical America.
- Atacand, on 07/04/2009, -1/+2Put in there obviously as an apology to the "indians".
- Prufrock1, on 07/04/2009, -1/+2whoa, the new digg, link hover is nauseating. I hope they ix it.
- cookingboy, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Yep, just your opinion.
"Snapshots are not incredible in any way and lack significance in the world of photography."
You freaking serious? I mean....nevermind, I don't even feel like arguing with you. I think you need to learn a bit more about "photography" before posting a comment like that again. - jazzguitar18, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1I don't know why people can enjoy freedom everyday.
- Diggpick, on 07/04/2009, -1/+2***** you!
- jazzguitar18, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1mine would involve, keg, barbecue, bong, ***** and maybe driving fast or something lol
- 360photo, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1The term 'snapshot" came form hunting. A very quick shot with no aim would yield better accuracy than one when aimed slowly and with care. The "point and shoot" should have more respect. Happy U.S day to our American brothers and sisters. Good news about that palin lady :)
- themastersb, on 07/04/2009, -3/+3I liked the fireworks shown on 9/11.
- Mittens27, on 07/04/2009, -2/+2Canada day, eh?
- jkash23686, on 07/04/2009, -1/+1much different and simpler times. great shots
- jake86, on 07/04/2009, -2/+1What's wrong with your neighbors blowing themselves up on the 2nd or 3rd?
- inactive, on 07/04/2009, -3/+2other than the red guy and his son/grandson...
- amolkold, on 07/04/2009, -2/+1Awesome, but they need to take a page out of Boston.com's layout.
- jordanlgta, on 07/04/2009, -4/+2I don't understand people that only celebrate days before July 4th. It's a day not a week.
- crazzy88ss, on 07/04/2009, -3/+1eh...
- reefrmad, on 07/04/2009, -7/+4Ahhhhhh LIFE... when America was white...
- specialeddie295, on 07/04/2009, -6/+1These aren't very amazing pictures to me, I'm sure theres much better out there. Almost all of them (besides perhaps the last 2) appear to be simply snapshots. Snapshots are not incredible in any way and lack significance in the world of photography. Almost none of these pictures are interesting or convey any sort of emotion or bring any thought to mind, like photography is supposed to do.
But perhaps that is simply just my opinion and no one else will agree with me. - homercles337, on 07/04/2009, -7/+2Things were very different before the neocons started manipulating the media.
- theavenger2, on 07/04/2009, -6/+1Wow, only one comment so far? TWO!!!!!!
