- TheKyle27, on 07/06/2008, -4/+226Here's the Digg article with a link to the Flickr set that these photos were stolen from...
http://www.flickr.com/photos/balakov/sets/72157602 ... - AlpineStars777, on 07/06/2008, -3/+207Some of the smiles on the Lego men are a bit out of place.
- MooseTaag, on 07/06/2008, -0/+66Who's that tennis player?
My uhh... friend wants to know. - ThatDustyGuy, on 07/06/2008, -3/+55I don't think I'd be too happy about getting shot in the face.
- Soave, on 07/06/2008, -0/+38http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_Girl
- sencity, on 07/06/2008, -0/+37Yeah, The recreation of that execution one was a little creepy.
- timusca, on 07/06/2008, -0/+33nice ass on the tennis player
(the real one, I mean) - mark076h, on 07/06/2008, -24/+53this was already on digg, buried
- timusca, on 07/06/2008, -0/+23With the exception of the fact that... you know... everyone is plastic and the man with a gun to his head is smiling.
- inactive, on 07/06/2008, -1/+24This was already on Digg, but this article provided the original pictures along with the lego picture. Therefore, dugg.
- choopie911, on 07/06/2008, -0/+22They all look so happy
- djHBRD, on 07/06/2008, -0/+20Oh man, that Vietcong shooting reenactment was ***** up.
- austang, on 07/06/2008, -0/+17(the lego one too)
- NotOptium, on 07/06/2008, -0/+15Buried both of them out of spite.
- AdamWillis, on 07/06/2008, -0/+14I remember this on digg also but had no idea that tennis girl was a recreation of a woman showing her nice bum until now... I looked through all of them and then went back to it for a second quick look.
- Zincyams, on 07/06/2008, -0/+12Yeah, the best was the police officer looking a bit overly happy covering a Hippie's junk.
- KailuaSurfer808, on 07/06/2008, -0/+12Drugs
- jessestorm, on 07/06/2008, -9/+20That's pretty cool. My only beef with them is that a lot of those photographs have very serious meanings, and putting smiley-faced toys in the place of the people could be found insulting to some people.
- OstrakonX, on 07/06/2008, -11/+22Buried as repost.
- austang, on 07/06/2008, -5/+16I could be mistaken, however I believe this should have been on their list.

- univerio, on 07/07/2008, -0/+9By "friend", do you mean "penis"?
- Munceenuts, on 07/06/2008, -0/+8So is that joke.
- dontswimtoshore, on 07/06/2008, -9/+16old.
- NotOptium, on 07/06/2008, -3/+10NAKED JESUS!
- acegi, on 07/06/2008, -0/+7soccer: maradona http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hand_of_God_goal

- KbuPlatinum, on 07/07/2008, -0/+6legophiles
- ScottMitchell, on 07/06/2008, -1/+7How in the world did the Tienanmen Square massacre have anything to do with America and anti-Chinese propaganda?
Also, check out the website's front page: http://useloos.com/
That doesn't look like English to me. - Ethanael, on 07/06/2008, -0/+6Iwo Jima? Where are the other 2?
- whatever01, on 07/06/2008, -0/+6Let's start with the fact that Lego is Danish, so the African-American nomenclature is a bit America-centric. African-Danish, perhaps?
The figures are yellow, not white - indeterminate race. Only licensed figures are built to acknowledge race - some characters in Star Wars (including Mace Windu), some black ones in the NBA sets(Kobe Bryant, etc) etc.
That's what the Lego forums say, anyway. - HookmasterCH47, on 07/06/2008, -0/+6Lego people tend to remind me to keep upbeat about life
- duser4, on 07/06/2008, -0/+5http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hand_of_God_goal
- inactive, on 07/06/2008, -0/+5They don't have white people either. They're all yellow.
- EatChex89, on 07/06/2008, -3/+8Yeah this was posted not 3 weeks ago.
- neilyn, on 07/06/2008, -0/+5That is one brave hippie standing up to those stormtroopers.
- inactive, on 07/06/2008, -1/+6Ehh, it's new to me. Sorry I can't spend every waking minute on Digg to see what's up at all times.
- gerryk, on 07/06/2008, -0/+4He's not crying, he's just been shot in the head
- FountainOfTruth, on 07/06/2008, -4/+8I still dug it because it added the photographs it came from.
Yeah, duplicate, but it's nice to see the pictures side by side. - Tyrghast, on 07/06/2008, -1/+5Seriously people, that slideshow was on digg about 1.5 months ago.
- inactive, on 07/06/2008, -1/+5http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hand_of_God_goal
Edit: Nevermind, duser4 got it before me. - gonrad, on 07/06/2008, -3/+7The tennis girl:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_Girl - SilverBack101, on 07/06/2008, -1/+5God damn you Jesus can't we just watch a game without you going naked?!
- theOster, on 07/06/2008, -0/+4another treat on the flickr site is that he has the setup shot as well. very cool.
- ledguitar, on 07/06/2008, -1/+4I haven't seen all these pictures before so can someone give background information on the soccer one, the railway one with the guy walking off a ladder, and the one with the top hat guy and the big white building.
- scaaven2, on 07/06/2008, -1/+4older than lego einstein...
j/k, pretty nice - saxreturns, on 07/07/2008, -0/+3That's what shouts are for. Please learn to conjugate verbs!
- shortyjacobs, on 07/06/2008, -0/+3I agree. Honestly, I though this would be cool....but the Lego entirely stripped the picture of any meaning, and some of those pictures are SO full of meaning that it seems wrong to trivialize them.
- cozmoz365, on 07/06/2008, -0/+3I first saw this in a newspaper, here is an article about it from there website:
