- RagingReid, on 11/06/2009, -8/+409This fruitcake needs to stick to ***** sitcoms. Leave science to the scientists.

- Awwzm, on 11/06/2009, -5/+256Damn Mike Seaver! You crazy!
- jiggawatt, on 11/06/2009, -1/+237I loved the rebuttal video. Apparently Romania has better public education than we do, no thanks to the Kirk Cameron's of the world.
- myskepticsight, on 11/06/2009, -2/+192The chick who did the reaction video is my new hero.
- OPR8R, on 11/06/2009, -3/+192Wow, Kirk Cameron... You really opened my eyes to the truth.
- Orbital101, on 11/06/2009, -1/+185This is one of those times where I skip the article completely and go straight to the comments.
- Sucka27, on 11/06/2009, -0/+173He got *****' owned in that video response.
- seltaeb4, on 11/06/2009, -7/+156Hey Kirk,
Jesus loves you, but he also thinks you're a ***** idiot. - ickybod, on 11/06/2009, -3/+139That's funny because I can link god to Hitler/racism/sexism much easier.
- IIAmusedII, on 11/06/2009, -0/+126See, people? You don't need the /s.
- digitalArtform, on 11/06/2009, -1/+126The Atheist's Nightmare was bred into existence by man in 1880 through the application of Science.

- Bodhinature, on 11/07/2009, -0/+107Except Tom Cruise is rich and famous.
- Jonjonr6, on 11/06/2009, -0/+103Apparently no one's playing the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon anymore. It's all about 6 degrees of Hitler.
- bicyclethief, on 11/06/2009, -0/+102It's like how Einstein killed everyone at Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
- GorfTron, on 11/06/2009, -1/+91Michael J Fox would kick his ass in science knowledge.
- Formaldehydex2, on 11/06/2009, -0/+79They got started early at my school. I was sitting on a bench outside a few weeks ago when a woman walked up and asked if I'd like a free book. Without thinking I said sure, and she shoves a book into my hand and quickly walks off. It took me a few moments to recognize the book I had just been handed, but when I did I found the lady and gave her the book back. A friend of mind got a copy and we skimmed the introduction, utterly in awe at the absolute logic fail the were using to back their positions. I particularly liked my friend's response: "I have thumbs. Your argument is invalid."
- PokeyPenguin, on 11/06/2009, -5/+83RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE. If you get this book please tear out the introduction and throw it at their feet, and then thank them for the book.
- Archcoder, on 11/06/2009, -1/+71Instead of feeding starving children or investing in green energy lets print a bunch of ***** books and attempt to ruin a pro-science celebration.
- Mejari, on 11/06/2009, -0/+68Even Darwin himself pointed out that applying natural selection methods to supposedly enlightened species like us would be an incredibly stupid idea. Using direction-less means of evolution that are evident in nature to justify eugenics, a purely human invention, is not logic, or at least not valid logic.
- rushiku, on 11/06/2009, -2/+67"Why don't scientists leave philosophy to the philosophers?"
Whoa, hold it right there, flag on the play, are you really trying to equate philosophy (the science of thought) to theology (the science of self delusion)? - LilJimmyNordin, on 11/06/2009, -4/+66Agreed. Bangable smart Eastern Euro chick is SO BANGABLE.
- Mejari, on 11/06/2009, -1/+63No, Hitler was not a Darwinist, he was a racist (also Catholic).
- DevilToo, on 11/06/2009, -1/+62Mike Seaver is now part of the Borg collective. He won't be missed.
- FmyLife, on 11/06/2009, -1/+56I love how he sits like A.C. Slater, I can really relate to him now.
- Antialias, on 11/06/2009, -2/+55Someone can be a racist/murderer/whatever and still make amazing discoveries(I don't know the facts on Darwin's racism so I'm just saying that it wouldn't matter either way). It's not like Darwin wrote the book and they everybody said "Well of course he wrote it so that MUST be how it works." Thousands of people have verified parts of the theory in many hundreds of experiments, fossil discoveries and other means. He just got the ball rolling.
- Mejari, on 11/06/2009, -1/+53It was definitely not Intelligently Designed
- joemofo214, on 11/06/2009, -0/+52I ***** laugh whenever I see this video.
- diothar, on 11/06/2009, -5/+56Old news and Hot Atheist Chick has already systematically debunked his arguments.
http://www.youtube.com/user/ZOMGitsCriss#p/u/4/fmH ... - Hetman, on 11/06/2009, -1/+52Darwinism and social darwinism are not the same think and why the ***** are we still calling it darwinism. It is evolution.
- startsomething7, on 11/06/2009, -5/+54If we gave out bibles exposing Christianity in the first few pages, we would be stopped.
- joshmoney, on 11/06/2009, -4/+52Props for posting ZOMGitsCriss as well. One of the few intelligent YouTubers worth catching every now and then. Plus she's witty and super cute.
- Malnilion, on 11/06/2009, -0/+46Someone got Left Behind in science class :-P
- the2989, on 11/06/2009, -1/+47I say we come up with a plan to subvert all of Kirk Cameron's reputation with anybody.
"Cameron says that he and like-minded activists plan to deliver 50,000 copies of an altered version of Darwin's book to students at dozens of U.S. universities."
What a piece of *****. - rushiku, on 11/06/2009, -0/+46Will they be handing out bananas with those books?
- pimpofpixels, on 11/06/2009, -0/+45How about those apposeable thumbs?
But seriously, isn't if kind of ironic to see the guy who doesn't believe in evolution praising how perfect bananas are for humans. He might as well have been sitting in a tree. - Flatlineskillz, on 11/07/2009, -0/+41burn!
- VitriolAndAngst, on 11/06/2009, -1/+40Darwin's theories -- and I only include this for those who "get" science -- are about Adaptation -- MERELY through natural selection.
If you take a group of people, throw them in ice water, and let everyone die until there are only two --- their offspring MIGHT be better at surviving cold water. Darwin isn't recommending it, and it takes a LOT of people and generations to get those who are cold-water adapted.
It doesn't get you Einstein, however. Nor does it make life better, or a better society. Darwin did not touch upon how societies and nature and all that create symbiotic relationships. Notice that the Lion is not in an arms race with the water buffalo. In NATURE -- survival of the fittest is only ONE PART of the whole picture. The Lion does not have an ejectable jaw and poison-tipped claws and the Water Buffalo has not developed armor. Because in some ways -- they need each other. And sometimes, the lion does NOT kill the Water Buffalo, even though he could when at a watering hole. Over time -- the lion probably moderated it's behavior because ALWAYS killing the weaker animal meant that it eventually starves.
Apparently, common sense was weaned out of the NeoCons, the Christian Fascists, and our soft bellied weaknesses, have made us not thin out our heard from idiots who believe in Eugenics. You see, these folks always project onto others their darkest fantasies -- so it makes them OK that they only want to weed out Liberals and really, really nasty people with bad table manners.
These idiots, take some theory of science, that describers a well known PART of evolution, and try to say it's a moral judgement. It's an excuse for them -- though they don't believe in evolution, they all seem to be social darwinists. I don't know how these people function with such a twisted selective morality and denying their own contradictory nonsense -- it must require a lot of energy. - FmyLife, on 11/06/2009, -3/+41Kirk Cameron can suck my balls.
- CallMeRooster, on 11/06/2009, -0/+38In biology, a race is any inbreeding group, including taxonomic subgroups such as subspecies, taxonomically subordinate to a species and superordinate to a subrace and marked by a pre-determined profile of latent factors of hereditary traits.
Examples of race include:
The Key lime and the Mexican lime, both of species Citrus x aurantifolia. The Mexican lime has a thicker skin and darker green color.
The African Wildcat (Felis silvestris lybicus) and the domestic cat (Felis silvestris catus).
The Western honey bee is divided into several honey bee races

- Willtheway, on 11/06/2009, -5/+43no it was dolphin and whale
- VitriolAndAngst, on 11/06/2009, -1/+38It's an amazing way they've introduced Nazism to the NeoCons in America; everyone is Hitler but Hitler.
- EnderTheThird, on 11/07/2009, -0/+36It's something of a marvel that after more than a billion years of evolution, we still manage to produce so many morons like Kirk Cameron.
On another note, I've been reading "The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution" by Richard Dawkins lately. I'm about 3/4 through it, and he has some excellent information in there, both for science and non-science types. One thing I appreciated about this book is that Dawkins avoids religion entirely and just focuses on the science, which means I might actually be able to get more people to read it. He starts off by mentioning that many religious leaders fully acknowledge the fact of evolution, which is something a lot of people forget. You can accept evolution without being a godless heathen. I mean, even the freaking Pope praised evolution, and the Vatican took how many centuries to finally admit their mistake when it came to Galileo? Either way, it's a good read, even though Dawkins does have a habit of going off on tangents about really silly things, like naming conventions when it comes to taxonomy and the like. That stuff is a little painful, but it's very easy to skip it and get right back to the good stuff. - fritzmusic, on 11/07/2009, -0/+33Hey, he's sitting informally like us. Let's hear what he has to say.
