It's times like this that I'm glad I turned my back on religion over a decade ago, stuff like this was forced on me on a daily basis in school and church, people should be free to decide what they want to believe without being pressured and coheresed into what other people believe is right. When I have kids, I will raise them as children, and if they choose Christianity or any other religion, then I'll be fine without, because they decided it.

I actually agree with a lot of what they say, my dad's going on 2500 years old now and he was jesus's lab partner in "science" class. They did cover a chapter on Herbivore Tyrannosaurus Rexes.

If your beliefs are based on science then pretend the Bible does not exist. Now use logic, experiments, data collection, etc... to try and figure out historical events. How could anyone possibly come to their conclusions without an unverifiable source such as the Bible?

This video absolutely disgusts me. I have no problem with people being religious, having their own beliefs, etc. It's not my business. But when you start blatantly brainwashing children not old enough to make informed decisions on their own, that's where it starts ***** me off.

Wow, normally I don't like all of the Christianity bashing, because 90% of Christianity ends up doing things that can be considered good by everyone, but god damn it, people like this give it a bad name.......I understand the teaching, and I'm fine with telling it to kids, but for crying out loud don't do it at a museum.

My favorite part is the explanation that because there was no death before Adam and Eve sinned, all creatures were herbivores. That must mean that plants are not living. And I guess those pointy Tyrannosaurus teeth were for puncturing coconuts and drinking out the coconut milk? And really, a Tyrannosaurus couldn't fast and pray. Those little forelimbs were too small to clasp together.

Lets hope that these kids will be able to form there own opinions eventually. sometime i seriously think our civilisation has reached its peak. hard facts of science given over to "the bible said so" the general dumbing down of society, nothing is built to last anymore, its all made to a $ figure.. it appears to be all down hill from here.

Truth be told, students like these represent a very very small percentage of all the students in this country.

If I have to choose between allowing parents to choose what their children are taught (and having a small percentage of children being taught incorrect views) and having the government dictate what we all should learn, I'll go with parents choice.

I see a lot more potential harm with the government dictating what should be taught. Even though such a system might have good intentions at first, it could quickly begin to backfire very quickly in my mind.

I have seen far too many facts skewed in Christian books about science- one book I read stated that "some people believe there are millions of galaxies elsewhere". The book was written in 1994. The Hubble Space Telescope was launched in 1990. Reality denial, anyone?

Don't assume that just because you are athiest that everything the narrator says is correct. I did catch one mistake on behalf of the narrator. He said that 7 generations of 800 year old people would be 5600 years... Generations overlap such that the people would still be having their kids in their 20s or 30s like normal people... so the 1000 years the creationists said would be right - I don't know wtf the narrator is smoking.

i was brought up as a "Jehovah's Witness" and was brainwashed from all this 6000 years ago crap (left when i was 14 now 20) and my life is great and i believe the big bang theory.
