- FatherG, on 07/03/2009, -0/+23Did this article just put down the 5th Element? Heretic.

Um, yeah, I don't think I can stand up for a while.... - ShoggothDreams, on 07/03/2009, -0/+6Wow... do they ever bother to research these articles beyond the 1st 2 or 3 shows that come to mind? Farscape and Babylon 5 were dazzling in their sense of style, both in blending elements of ethnic and historical clothing, as well as just plain "alien" fashion. Then, if you are going to mention classic camp, how on earth did they skip Barbarella? Or classics like Raumpatrouille (which predated Star Trek, and was at least as serious), and as mentioned in the comments, Dr Who? (mock the simplicity of the various Doctor's styles, but the garb of many of the "aliens" was quite impressive -such as those in the episodes the Keeper of Traken) I am so tired of all these thrown together fluff pieces, using just attention getting headlines, for content that would not fill a paragraph.
- inactive, on 07/03/2009, -0/+6what a ***** article, who is digging this crap?

- Braggnforg, on 07/03/2009, -0/+2Blakes 7 and Farscape had some cool costumes as well. There is just too much space to fill on the interweb, it can't all be good.

I know because I watched a lot of 1950's era sci-fi flicks. - ZeroCubed, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1Bruce Willis save Sci Fi fashion? Not likely. Am I the only person who realizes that most of Bruce Willis' movie attire consists of hoodies, and clothes that get torn and dirty in about five minutes?
- fury420, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1praising the movie as a whole perhaps, but definitely mocking Chris Tucker

- bjs3171, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1i thought it was praising it...saying it got the costumes right, but maybe ahead of it's time a bit.
- Urrelles, on 07/03/2009, -0/+0That was......short. That was like an introduction to the real paper. Im sitting here waiting for the actual article to start. Looking for the page 2 button. there is none. That was it.
This article covers american sci-fi. The British seem to still have some weird futuristic fashions. Wasn't Lex a show with weird fashions in the US. This article also ignores Japan for its off the wall futuristic & fantasy fahsion direction. Japanese fashion is extreme but not utterly stupid like some of the DJ's outfits in 5th Element. - lembergm, on 08/02/2009, -0/+0check out the teen fashions in this scifi movie
