- t3hmyth, on 09/07/2008, -19/+583Photoshopped.
- thundercloud39, on 09/07/2008, -7/+380More saturation != Better photo
- Oceandrop, on 09/07/2008, -3/+264At first glance I thought the Digg title was "FAIL". I though it was more appropriate. Nice composition but poor color manipulation. Nothing wrong with natural or with garish, posterized color. Choose one or the other.
- sladek, on 09/07/2008, -27/+190*Autumn
- brycelb, on 09/07/2008, -8/+154If it is then the person doing it should be fired. The color correction would get you an F in beginning Photo. Check out the PINK street signs.
- arch3r, on 09/08/2008, -3/+101Did anyone else initially read the headline as Fail?
- SiliconRain, on 09/08/2008, -5/+1001 - Take photo of trees
2 - Open in Photoshop
3 - Drag red saturation all the way up
4 - Submit photo to Digg
5 - ????
6 - Profit! - inactive, on 09/08/2008, -8/+84"Absolutely. Had to punch up the reds, to give it the saturated look I wanted. Technology is a wonderful thing! "
fall fail - TekeeTakShak, on 09/08/2008, -2/+69Well actually, the person who took the photo commented:
"Absolutely. Had to punch up the reds, to give it the saturated look I wanted. Technology is a wonderful thing!" - HereticChick, on 09/08/2008, -6/+68Over-saturated, lacks detail. buried.
- flowaus, on 09/08/2008, -2/+58Okay - I give up.
Where's the ***** Buffalo? - lennyp75, on 09/08/2008, -8/+63oh god this picture sucks, it's over saturated and poorly composed. why is this on digg?!
- kazimir34, on 09/08/2008, -1/+37That's exactly why you can digg comments
- EmitStop, on 09/08/2008, -1/+35Finally?
How long have you been waiting to want to live in Buffalo? - kcdunlap, on 09/08/2008, -7/+40I thought the title said 'Fail'. Somewhat disappointed when I clicked on it.
...but it really is a beautiful photo. - vilago, on 09/08/2008, -2/+35why is this crap on the front page?
- oldhick, on 09/08/2008, -1/+28"if it is..."? Doesn't the PINK street sign mean it definitely is?
- jmkiii, on 09/08/2008, -3/+28Both are correct
- inactive, on 09/08/2008, -2/+23You misspelled fake.
- arjie, on 09/08/2008, -0/+20What ever happened to good old ≠?
- tomsentest, on 09/08/2008, -5/+23Those damn kids and their spray cans!
- SeventhSon, on 09/08/2008, -2/+19Pink doesn't exist.
- inactive, on 09/08/2008, -2/+18Step 6 is a lie.
- GawtMilk, on 09/08/2008, -0/+15How does the image look "real" to you? It looks like it has been taken waaaaaaay over the top. The mix between the leaves and the tree bark is particularly painful on the eyes. I'd like to see the original...
- Sabretou, on 09/08/2008, -1/+16When you see it, you will ***** brix.
- castletech, on 09/08/2008, -0/+15My sub-conscious was right in telling me FAIL.
- GawtMilk, on 09/08/2008, -0/+13I changed it to an outlandishly hideous piece of 'art'. You can now enjoy submitting it to Digg! Yay! Make sure you title it either "Autumn" or "Fall" for maximum effect.

- jthei, on 09/08/2008, -0/+12Step #4, fail.
- weezerrock86, on 09/08/2008, -0/+12Somebody likes saturation I didn't know stop signs were Hot Pink in Buffalo.
- t3hmyth, on 09/07/2008, -4/+16@brycelb
I was kidding, I just know that it'd be something that's said at some point.
However, about the color correction; sure the street signs look off, and sure the image itself has hues that are disproportionate, but doesn't the image look real? Isn't that typically the ultimate goal of manipulating an image with photoshop? - an0nymous, on 09/08/2008, -0/+11Those stop signs do not look right. At all.
- zeero, on 09/08/2008, -0/+11the author himself said its photoshopped......
- jmkiii, on 09/08/2008, -2/+12Is that what you call a high horse?!

http://flickr.com/photos/jscullin/1109962389/in/se ... - mike42780, on 09/08/2008, -0/+7There's better shots than this from Buffalo. This looks way over saturated.
- inactive, on 09/08/2008, -0/+7How did you guess?
FTA: "I don't generally comment on this image any more, but for the record, seriously, this was one of the first photos I put up here, and it definitely was overphotoshopped on purpose to see just how far colors could be adjusted and fiddled with before it just went too far." - Idiggapony, on 09/08/2008, -0/+7I personally have been waiting my whole life to want to live in Buffalo.
- b0er, on 09/08/2008, -1/+8Fail
