I mean really follow the pupils and nothing else. At first it is rather scary to hold direct eye contact, you might feel a little anxious, but later on you'll realize that this was the first time your really saw the person and connected with her.

Most likely the concurrance with mood patterns is merely a coincidence, amplified by the fact that you are "aware" of the phenomenon.

        A grey blob on a blue background will appear to have a slightly yellowish cast; there are several well-known optical illusions that take advantage of this effect.

Watching the optocian paint the different colors into the disc to match my natural eye was interesting. (And my sister loved the fact she got to keep the old ones for real eyes on snowmen.)
