What most people are commenting on here, is how stupid they were to put themselves in that situation to begin with. Those comments are an affirmation that we think it's bad that they are in that situation... We talk about how stupid it was because we don't want people to be in those situations. And nobody was visually mutilated in this video, all that was shown was extreme blunt force.
