- Dunnix, on 07/03/2008, -4/+2From the article:
"Mannitude is the attitude that the society has taught men from the time they were young as to how they should develop as a man, which in my opinion is a wrong message to be sending out."
Hmmm, it's not society sending out the messages... Natural man is the provider for his family. Natural man is an ***** and doesn't care much about anyone outside of his cave. Natural man has been corrupted by society.
So instead of making up some ridiculous words like "Mannitude" I would recommend the author educated his sexist mind and at least skim through some of the following books:
http://www.amazon.com/Rousseaus-Political-Writings ...
and the a hypothetical reversal of the corruption of Natural Man:
http://www.amazon.com/Emile-Education-John-Jacques ...- chaos7, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3a real man doesn't need to be an *****
- ritubpant, on 07/03/2008, -1/+2I am not sure how the author is being sexist as set forward by Dunnix. I thinnk the author is using the word " Mannitude " as the wrong attitude and both post seem to show that author is talking about the equality and not trying to portray men as the "supreme".
- Dunnix, on 07/03/2008, -2/+4Seriously?
"A dad wearing a shirt that says “My Other Ride is Your Mom” while eating at a restaurant with his kids, that’s the mannitude - the wrong attitude."
Thats not mannitude... that's ***** trash, something that exists in both sexes. I called him sexist because he is making blatant generalizations, trying to get push his "model" attitude of males and not even taking the time to research this ***** while basically insulting the entire school of social psychology within one lame article.
- Dunnix, on 07/03/2008, -2/+4Seriously?
