- DevilInPgh, on 05/02/2009, -0/+6North Korea is not on the list for one reason and one reason only: there is NO Internet access in North Korea, with the exception of Kim Jong-Il looking at pr0n.
- aleone31, on 05/02/2009, -1/+7Have any proof of that?
- geneikillua, on 05/02/2009, -1/+5The US perhaps has the greatest amount of freedom of speech in the world. This is a fact. If you say otherwise it's because you haven't properly studied the issue.
- DevilInPgh, on 05/02/2009, -0/+4Wow, looks like AmericanGoy made another sockpuppet account.
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -2/+6Dugg for CPJ good organisation doing good work.
- geneikillua, on 05/02/2009, -0/+3There are no bloggers in North Korea because there is no internet there.
I refer you to this: http://markhumphrys.com/Bitmaps/north.korea.night. ... - consciouseffect, on 05/03/2009, -0/+2please give examples the best i can think of is child porn?
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -2/+4proud to live in a country? wtf does that even mean.
- vagabond45, on 05/02/2009, -3/+5Censorship still exists in the US.
- RonADiSH, on 05/02/2009, -2/+4I live in Israel and thats definitely not the case here
Its so sad that people will digg you up just because they hate Israel - DevilInPgh, on 05/02/2009, -2/+4Don't listen to AmericanGoy. Apparently, he's now in the business of sockpuppetry.
- thedeadwalrus, on 05/02/2009, -0/+210 Worst Countries In Which to Be A Blogger
- JosedeNoche, on 05/02/2009, -0/+2every country has is flaws, but stomping down free-speech will be severelly punished...in time
- j4rcher, on 05/02/2009, -0/+2Well, they need to keep up the illusion after all.
- Ymeg, on 05/02/2009, -2/+3Pssh, you capitalist pig! Our beloved North Korea is not on this list.
And don't even try to tell us it is because they are too busy slaving away. Our people choose not to have any internet. - cerejota, on 05/04/2009, -0/+1@BlueBooger2: All of the evil in those countries was either created, funded, or both by the USA. Had the USA not invaded Korea there wouldn't be a north and south, for example.
You are the one who is ***** stupid. - partysan, on 05/02/2009, -0/+1I prefer Christmas Europe. Much more romantic.
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -3/+4It's funny how your comment is getting buried by people that have the luxury of living in its freedom.
- Ymeg, on 05/02/2009, -2/+2You can't expect ad hominems.
- audiorage18, on 05/02/2009, -1/+1And his phrasing was not an ad hominem? Oh, you're completely right, he was arguing a point; not just blindly setting the black and white worldview that Ayn Rand favors (which is why I pointed that out because of his name 'GaltShrugged' and his obvious political opinions).
At least my ad hominem was circumstantial and related to the point. His was just the black and white molded ad hominem attack ("BELOVED IRAN AND CUBA!"). - Gibletoid, on 05/04/2009, -0/+0You are wrong.
The people that blog in North Korea use phones snuck in from SK to get their info out so others can put it on the net for them.
You don't actually need your own internet connection to have a website, or is that new info to you? - audiorage18, on 05/02/2009, -1/+2You know who else is not on the list, every European country (including those evil socialist ones you people hate so much). Go live in your black and white world some more please. Ayn Rand and her novels are famous for that worldview, but what can you expect from borderline insane authors?
- JosedeNoche, on 05/02/2009, -2/+2i Think USA is gonna get even worse along with those countries
- Gibletoid, on 05/02/2009, -1/+1Wow... so compared to these places being a blogger in North Korea is better?
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -7/+7Isn't that interesting... EVIL CAPITALIST CORPORATE RUN ISRAELI OWNED AMERICA isn't on the list, but BELOVED IRAN AND CUBA are...
- audiorage18, on 05/02/2009, -2/+1Yes, because wrong and right are purely subjective. Developmental psychology has proven this, outlining that this way of thinking is primitive and begins in childhood. Simply, it is way too easy to view the world on such extremes. To see the many shade of gray, however, takes real cognitive abilities. Ayn Randian objectivity is inherently flawed and serves no real purpose in the real world where there are no Galts, no Roarks, etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_dichotomy
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -2/+1Isn't it sweet that you live in a country that allows you to do ad homs without the death penalty?
PS: Everything is black and white. In between is just for the moral coward. - inactive, on 05/02/2009, -3/+2Everything is black and white. It's either right or wrong to beat your wife. There's no middle ground. It's either right or wrong to choose your happiness over your neighbors. There is no middle ground.
So I'm close minded because I believe there is no middle ground between right and wrong? - audiorage18, on 05/02/2009, -2/+1Everything is not black and white. Mindsets like that are what makes everyone hate America. The world is way too complex when you consider the cultural, political, economic, and social influences to be set into a spectrum of 'with us' or 'against us'. Adopting such a simple-minded philosophy leaves no room for the subtle nuances of the human species- the many shades of gray. Sure, it is easy to adopt such a belief and just shout at the top of your lungs 'AMERICA! ***** YEH!' while plugging your ears. However, the world is not that simple and to assume otherwise means you lack the capability of open-mindedness. That is all.
- consciouseffect, on 05/03/2009, -2/+1wowowow the difference between those countries is they have evil governments, in America we have one of the fairest most representative governments in the world representing a population of extra sinful citizens we are the most evil country on earth though it has little to do with government
- Hellahulla, on 05/02/2009, -4/+1Kind of figures really.
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -3/+1lol, bet you "bluebooger2" hasn't traveled anywhere outside his trailer park community and relies on word of mouth (from other white trash around him who never left the community, either) on what the world is like.
- ohreilly, on 05/02/2009, -4/+1Wot, no UK?
From what I read on Digg, the UK is apparently a fascist police state whose centralised government surveillance ensures the detection of anything deemed anti-government and the numerous government databases (government IT is always successful) ensure a quick interception and detention (without trial) of the offender concerned. - inactive, on 05/02/2009, -6/+3who doesn't? it's common knowledge by now
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -8/+3Iran now executes bloggers, so they are #1.
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -6/+31) that "list" isn't a real authority.
2) just because US isn't on the list, doesn't mean its media isn't garbage and full of *****
3) sarcastic remarks that promote israel and hate on iran makes you look like an israeli shill who just discovered megaphone - inactive, on 05/02/2009, -12/+8Too bad it's one of the most evil countries on Earth.
- inactive, on 05/02/2009, -9/+5israel should be #1. try writing something in favor palestinians in israel and you'll get a visit by IDF thru your wall who will plant bombs in your living room and imprison/deport/torture you.
- Danik55, on 05/02/2009, -17/+5Proud to live in a country not on that list: USA.
