- REBECCAFRIEDMAN, on 02/25/2009, -2/+14Ignorance is bliss.
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -3/+13Scary thing is, we are only going through the consequences of those 8 years now.
- HankinTrees, on 02/26/2009, -0/+7In my opinion, people need to stop pursuing societal badges of accomplishment, and begin to find what drives them as a lifelong passion (doesn't mean you can't make money at it). Once people become passionate about what they do- and seek intellectual and personal badges of accomplishment than ideas of making quick cash and exploiting loopholes wont be commonplace. A successful life doesn't mean what it did in the original post-modern era, Obama can't change society's outlook on what qualifies as a successful life. and don't forget "When you go nothin', you got nothin; to loose!" (quote i heard watching COPS)
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -0/+5Most people's lives were fine. You don't see the effect of most policies until sometime down the line, like NOW.
- Shiftgood, on 02/26/2009, -1/+61)I feel like the things people hear/retain most when they communicate are negative (insults stick while complements are fleeting). People are also attracted to shock and destruction in the news and other channels of communication.
2)Communication has never been so ever present as it is today.
my 2 cents - TeraRealm256, on 02/26/2009, -3/+7***** ECONOMY SUCKS!!!
- NotYourProdigy, on 02/26/2009, -0/+4We'll do it live!
- Paranor01, on 02/26/2009, -0/+3Obama may not be able to change the outlook, but change has to start somewhere with it, and it's about time it did. I actually think that change has started, not because of Obama, but he does seem to be pushing for that change to be recognized.
- Paranor01, on 02/26/2009, -1/+4This article hit the proverbial nail on the head. Very articulate and engaging... and true.
- videographer, on 02/26/2009, -2/+4Eight years of Clintonian peace and prosperity...
HE MUST BE PUNISHED! - NotYourProdigy, on 02/26/2009, -1/+2The article didn't say anything. It will only fool the less intelligent.
- CaptOblivious, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1Wow, you people really need to learn to read more than a single paragraph at a sitting. That was a great article.
- PopcornDave, on 02/27/2009, -0/+1And you're going to put up with it just like everybody else in America because we're just so ***** used to going along that we've lost the will to fight as long as we've got our XBox 360, flat screen televisions and liquor.
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -3/+4Yeah, that darn prosperity.
- mparker21311, on 02/26/2009, -0/+1AND I'M MAD AS HELL!
- bobburn1, on 02/26/2009, -3/+3I agree with the long, boring, pointless parts.
- thcobbs, on 02/26/2009, -1/+1You're forgetting the 4.9% economic contraction at the end of his presidency....
- inactive, on 02/26/2009, -5/+4My life was perfectly fine under Bush and I am lower middle-class.
- amberlyn31, on 02/26/2009, -1/+0I must be older cuz I survived Reagan too. Talk about fearful living. Two dunces in a Bush and Clinto? Dont get me started. Nothing to be fearful of now. Cant get any worse, can only get better. I just want to see which idiot takes the credit.
- Paranor01, on 02/26/2009, -4/+2Apparently, you guys just didn't understand the article. It was very engaging and reflective. A very good read.
- cowsgonemadd3, on 02/26/2009, -6/+4You also lived through 2 terms with Bill Clinton who made a mess too.
- brucewayne1, on 02/26/2009, -2/+0very support obama's decision
- Hetman, on 02/26/2009, -8/+4This was a long and boring article. It really served no purpose. Except to point out that this guy has a fixation on boxes. He must suffer from boxophilia.
- inactive, on 02/26/2009, -7/+2Obumma's hope? What's that?
- ehaugan, on 02/26/2009, -15/+9SAVE US OBAMA! /barf
