Better than HDR: editing exposure with layers [PHOTOSHOP]

onlinephototutorials.com — If you ask me, the HDR fad is one of the most misused photo effects on the web today. Not only is it overkill, but there is an easier way to correct exposure on photos, which is non-destructive. It doesn't have the drawbacks to HDR either, like the obscene halos or the oddball colors - plus it only requires one photo.

  • inactive, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1Nice tutorial but it is much more work then Photomatix. Few sliders, batch processing. I am one of the few that likes the saturated look, and I didn't see it in this tutorial. I like the look where it is almost computer generated.
