- merchelo, on 01/05/2009, -1/+20thats one big picture
- amitait, on 01/06/2009, -4/+22Why the hell it's on the front page?!
- sheeplescareme, on 01/06/2009, -3/+15this may well be one of the lamest things to ever reach the front page of digg.
- synergye, on 01/06/2009, -2/+12Is anyone else disturbed by how incredibly large the image is?
- DuMbGuM, on 01/06/2009, -3/+12lead the world out of the economic crisis?
My my you do think a lot of yourselves don't you? - FrozenGonad, on 01/06/2009, -0/+9I just spat all over my computer screen.
- mohit115, on 01/06/2009, -3/+12Which dad does not do that? Amazing that stories like these make it to the most voted sections.
- kimbomitt, on 01/06/2009, -5/+13Hopefully the two daughters will be able to have at least somewhat normal upbringings.
Take the older one, for example...she is 10 now, and if Obama is President for 8 years whe will be in the White House till age 18. So everything she does between the ages of 10 and 18 has the potential to be very public. Think about everything that happened to you between those ages, and how much of it you wouldn't want the whole world to know about. - FrozenGonad, on 01/06/2009, -0/+7***** you.. Obama for Jebus...
- fluidfoundation, on 01/06/2009, -2/+9I've been swayed by a claptrap before. I had to use a special cream for a week.
- sheeplescareme, on 01/06/2009, -0/+7yes.
- RobLikesBRunch, on 01/06/2009, -7/+14Because anything featuring Obama makes an everyday situation into a deep, arcane, emotionally-moving image that we should cherish for life, being the aesthetes that we are.
Obama is our next president. He is not a deity. Let it go, Digg. - HenkMul, on 01/06/2009, -6/+13Gayness.
- konataXchan, on 01/06/2009, -1/+8What do you mean 'are becoming creepy *****.'?
The Media have always been a bunch of sick and twisted individuals. - synergye, on 01/06/2009, -2/+9Creepy.
- cryonix, on 01/06/2009, -0/+7I thought images that size only came from NASA.
- FrozenGonad, on 01/06/2009, -1/+7I'm sorry.. That made me laugh.. Is there something wrong with me? Probably..
- irishjays, on 01/06/2009, -4/+10I want a picture of Obama reading his blackberry during his morning poop.
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -3/+9Increasing spending while cutting taxes is not going to end the economic crisis.
- czeman, on 01/06/2009, -4/+10Buried as lame *****.
- senseilmno, on 01/05/2009, -3/+9where are the goats?
- immatellyouwhat, on 01/06/2009, -3/+9WTF?!
- Phatmoejoe, on 01/06/2009, -1/+7Ahh hem, Zoom into the terrorist face bump and you can clearly see that both mother and daughter are quite noticeably frowning. Michelle Obama actually looks quite angry possibly even disgusted. Also, all hands (except the little girl's) are in pockets.... what no hugs b4 the 1st day of school? I move for instant impeachment on the grounds that this should never have made the front page and Obama's wife is clearly a child hating witch of some kind... and we all know America's policy on witches and abedders thereof... ill give you a hint (theres a stake involved... and not the tasty kind)
- maci01, on 01/06/2009, -0/+5MOAR.
- JenniferInMO, on 01/06/2009, -1/+6Gee, I went to public schools and I spell much better than you do. Perhaps, if you hadn't dropped out you would have a different view of public schools.
- OutlawAdidas, on 01/06/2009, -1/+6I don't think the picture is big enough.
- FURBjr, on 01/06/2009, -3/+7Well you can darn well be sure it isn't DC public schools, that they compell you and I to pay for (with guns if necessary). They also compell OUR kids to attend these monstrosities with little hope of escape.
- wannarto, on 01/06/2009, -1/+5George Bush Sr. needs to do this now! send his son to elementary school...
- dungbeetle, on 01/06/2009, -3/+7I saw this on Upcoming News and I thought "Surely this won't make it to the front page." Guess I was wrong.
- serendipitously, on 01/06/2009, -2/+5If they don't say nice things about him, they'll stop giving him pretty pictures. If you think about it, what are those pictures worth on the open market if taken clandestinely by the paparazzi? I look at it as a $10K bribe in effect. Thats the practical effect of it. Giving or denying someone access based on whether they are nice or nasty to you has the same practical effect. That is the way powerful people can control the news. It takes a lot of guts to do what those Washington Post reporters did with Watergate saga. The Post risked not getting any more stories from the whitehouse or access to it.
Anyway, Obama is in his honeymoon period now. He hasn't done anything 'wrong' yet. - JenniferInMO, on 01/06/2009, -2/+5Sidwell Friends. It was founded by the Quakers.
- nonymous666, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3NBC news showed these released-to-the-press pics last night on the evening news, then announced they're not going to be showing or doing anymore 'news' on the daughters; they're going to leave the girls alone.
- immatellyouwhat, on 01/06/2009, -1/+3I think they are trying to hard to make obama memorable, they have to capture each moment as if it were the greatest thing in history but they need to just et it play out and not force it.
- woodsjransom, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Dang some people took you serious, lets see how many piggy back on your comment and take it a step further.
- GDOG5, on 01/06/2009, -2/+4what school are they going to?
- immatellyouwhat, on 01/06/2009, -4/+6Where's the Bacon?
- hazello, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Why not, we led the world into it.
Actually, we lead the world. Get it straight, damn foreigner! - woodsjransom, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Yep, let that half a bus pick him up.
- EVILTHETURTLE, on 01/06/2009, -1/+3Only the easily swayed sir.
- manitoba98xp, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1The media? Did you notice this is from change.gov – the "Office of the President-Elect", which is run by Barack Obama (the President-Elect)?
- ironhide, on 01/06/2009, -0/+1Obama wants to rain down a Hamas weapons accident?
- mojoro23, on 01/06/2009, -2/+3Two rich girls off to private school, how beautiful, give me a break!
