If that's considered "fashion" I forsee nudism coming back into style.
It's like someone woke up and said "You know, I think I'm too pretty. Maybe if I put a bunch of garbage and poorly fitting crap on I can ugly myself up a bit."
That sure is bad. at least only 1 person is wearing it, unlike some things you see on the street. like fatties with "exposed midrif" guys with their pants falling down etc.
This type of fashion is misleading, by being called fashion. When you see runway shows like this it's more about art than it is about fashion (i.e. people aren't actually intended to wear this stuff). It's more like walking into an art gallery that's doing a show on, say, surrealism. It's not meant to be practical, it's meant to be expressive.
But I agree, most of it is very unappealing, visually.
Betraying your entire cultural history by dressing like an India (native american) chief for a bunch of pastey white prudes with nothing better to do: priceless.
Spectacularly bad designs. The so-called "high art" of the runway completely lost sight of what actually looks good on a human body. Some of this stuff looks like random fabrics shot out of a cannon to see what would stick. They're running out of ideas, so they try anything. And what's this new obsession with rubber boots? Has someone been stealing the models' shoes?
Although most certainly are bad examples of fashion, the first girl and a few others would work in Jet Set Radio.
Gotta be neat to get to wear such funky threads.
If someone posted that picture on Craigslist, the culmination of bad design would actually cause the innards of the monitor it was displayed on to collapse into a singularity and thus form a black hole which would eventually cause the end of the earth and solar system.
If there's one thing more hilarious than crazy outfits, it's people who have absolutely no idea how the fashion industry works commenting on the crazy outfits.
Quick update - the crazy outfits are to get press attention. They are advertising stunts. Obviously its not designed for people to wear, you think designers would have twigged by now after no one buys their clothes if thats all they put out?
why has fashion morphed into some strange style that just strives to make girls look hideous? these costumes are exceptionally ugly, but even some "real" fashion looks impractical and horrible
