abduzeedo.com — Who doesn't love Pin-ups? These pretty ladies have been out there for over 50, 60 years, and still look fresh and awesome. And they are great source of inspiration! Vintage posters will rock once you fix a pin-up in it... but first you must find the right theme... and boy, there are a LOT of themes for this pin-ups.

    • VinceNoir, on 03/20/2008, -0/+7Actually, what women think is sexy vs. what men think is sexy is completely based on totally different things. In both cases, keep in mind that we're talking completely superficially. When it comes to real relationships, there's more to it than just "being sexy".

      Men find women attractive generally when they have the "hourglass figure". They don't even need to have big boobs or be super skinny to pull that off either. It simply has to be that the waist is smaller than the breast and buttocks.

      Women tend to be more interested in having a figure that the clothes they like will look good on. Since a lot of the clothes and the fashion mags feature clothes that only look good on the stick figures with smaller breasts and no butt, that's what a lot of women strive for. They mistakenly think that men will find this as attractive as they do.

      Men on the other hand are always perplexed when women think they have a "big butt" when we look at them and think that they are more than perfect. And even when we tell them that, they don't believe us.

      However, I think this only applies to my generation and older (kids of the 70s and Gen-Xers). I think with younger folks there's been a bit of change because of the internet. For one thing, women in my generation didn't want to look like porno actresses at all. They thought those women looked "cheap". But there are plenty of teen and twenty something females these days who aspire to look like Jenna Jameson for example than there were in the 80s. (Again, just general terms) Look at all of the so-called "attention whores" on the net in various states of nudity. That didn't exist when I was in my 20s. (I'm 38).

      So, the point is that men and women have different definitions of "sexy" for women. But it's changing a bit. Maybe... just maybe in another 20 years, men and women might actually agree on something that looks a lot more like a real person.
