-Arrested Development. - Weezer1223, on 02/24/2008, -6/+55This reminds me of LL Cool J in the movie Toys.
- inactive, on 02/24/2008, -9/+41Is there anyway to block a site from coming up on DIGG? I know you can block sections, but what about individual sites?
I'm sick of dailymails flooding of this site and don't want or need to see their stories. - briguymaine, on 02/24/2008, -7/+37very cool. not to take anythiing away from the artist but isn't there a way to get this effect in photoshop with texture mapping or something? Just something I've wanted to try.
- jamdogg, on 02/24/2008, -0/+26The Predator had this down to a fine science back in the Arniemania days.
- moletimer, on 02/24/2008, -2/+22These pictures are amazing, especially the bookshelf one. Awesome.
- funkyflea, on 02/24/2008, -1/+15Nice work. Creepy almost.
- chedabob, on 02/24/2008, -4/+18I hate idiots like you.
- Forky, on 02/24/2008, -0/+11This is how ninjas dress up, when they haven't had their morningcoffe.
- superrad, on 02/24/2008, -1/+11So it's best to play ignorance to the masses?
- DKSprocket, on 02/24/2008, -2/+12Old maybe, but pretty cool nonetheless.
Here's some more links:

http://www.desireepalmen.nl/images.php (from her official website - includes some of her other work) - Supernova36, on 02/24/2008, -9/+19Wow, slow news day for the Mail! These are old.
- StealTheRR, on 02/24/2008, -3/+12Well, *I* find that funny, even if no one else seems to. ;)
- superrad, on 02/24/2008, -3/+12"In the natural world, the chameleon blends in perfectly with its background."
Chameleons do not blend based upon there surroundings. That is a total myth. Chameleons change colors for display purposes and moods.
KeepingChameleons.com - IphtashuFitz, on 02/24/2008, -0/+9A projector can't project JUST on the subject.
- Blandyman, on 02/24/2008, -1/+10I think this sort of work has much more artistic merit if they paint it...
plus, the paint's already in the can... she's just using it to paint onto a suit... i don't see what's harming the environment. - daifeichu, on 02/24/2008, -4/+12Do not click on that link. Trust me.
- la7crosse11, on 02/24/2008, -0/+7She should be a professor at the Milford School.
- stonedthot, on 02/24/2008, -2/+9ditto
- johndi, on 02/24/2008, -1/+8She is not just taking photos in a studio. She enjoys people's reaction when they see it on the street. You can't do that on a computer.
- regeya, on 02/24/2008, -0/+6Then bury it already. Also, you're about the third person to point this out. Comment buried for redundancy.
- alexforcefive, on 02/24/2008, -0/+6Muslims hate crisps now? Is there anything they don't hate? >:|
- diggydougie, on 02/24/2008, -0/+6Let's see a video of them walking around. And maybe from different angles. Not so much then. I'll bet it would look strange to see someone in a bookshelf outfit walk up to the bookshelf and just merge into it.
- wrathchilde, on 02/24/2008, -1/+7OK, fine, so you are technically right. But, if you use octopus instead of chameleon as your reference, the level of understanding conveyed to the reader is "WTF?".
- VenDrake, on 02/24/2008, -1/+7Dugg down. Blocked. Marked as offensive.
- Hraes, on 02/24/2008, -1/+7Also, that is completely not the point.
- Texmurphy01, on 02/24/2008, -0/+5To those who want to know the change since the above poster posted, £1,500 is now worth $15,670
- Pfkninenines, on 02/24/2008, -0/+5Lets see. C'mon. Do it. I want the pictures to have a high Digg rating too.
- djbon2112, on 02/24/2008, -2/+7I just saw Be Kind Rewind last night, and in one of the scenes at the beginning, they use this exact technique.
- vortex22222, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4Good grief, that's not really the point.
- adooga, on 02/25/2008, -0/+4Where's the head?
- vatd112, on 02/24/2008, -1/+5real men don't care how colour is spelled. and FYI, every nation spells colour, colour except for the US. u ignorant son of a bitch
- simpleid, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4the annoyances you feel when you read another 'internet meme' is the annoyance i feel when i have to read you reminding me 'this is old.'
- Mrdudeperson, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4The invisible chick on the right is hot.
- Roblodocus, on 02/24/2008, -1/+5At least it isn't The Sun or The Mirror.
- MarsSentinel, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4How to combat the Surveillance Society: wear plain-white Tyvek suits (the kind painters wear) over your clothes whenever you go out. Then when you get inside you can take it off ball/fold it up and it fits in a small pouch. If everyone did it no one would ever be under surveillance.
Plan B: REALLY generic clothing and glasses/hats.
You can become invisible without elaborate painting or technology. Just be generic and boring and they can't track you.
Oh, and use cash. - baroh, on 02/24/2008, -0/+4Dugg for sorting the books by colour.
- egonSchiele, on 02/25/2008, -0/+3please refer to parent thread.
- danomagnum, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3That has to be the crem de la crem of rickrolls
- Tibin05, on 02/24/2008, -4/+7I was curious...

- willster580, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3That movie sucked so badly.
- walastika, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3I saw these and suddenly the Ghost in the Shell opening theme started playing in my head.
- JethroGiant, on 02/24/2008, -0/+3Spy sapping ma bookshelf!
- Durrok, on 02/25/2008, -0/+3Well, since it's an election year, yes.
- blackhydra, on 02/24/2008, -2/+4Holy *****, you're an idiot.
- Greenergrass, on 02/24/2008, -2/+4Impressive work. I want to be drawn inside a fall.
- loquax, on 02/24/2008, -0/+2She should look at trying to do one or two of these as statues in front of the installation. You could have the viewers walk around after viewing it from the front. Cool effect.
- danjwray, on 02/25/2008, -0/+2Yup, there were no paedophiles to scare-monger over, nor asylum seekers to pick on today.
- Animal, on 02/24/2008, -3/+5Me too, but I wish I could forget Toys.
