- protogenxl, on 08/18/2008, -3/+31Where are the Duplo figures representing the Chinese womens gymnastics team?
- gambl0r, on 08/18/2008, -1/+17I see what you're getting at but duplo people are much larger and fatter than lego people. Better make it Polly Pocket.
- adventis, on 08/18/2008, -5/+18Please stop digging the shower of ***** that is the daily mail.
- bysubmitted, on 08/18/2008, -0/+12Many many many many many more pictures:

- Ryan32, on 08/18/2008, -6/+15Does this include judges giving Chinese athletes insanely high scores even though they completely biff a landing?
I mean, they basically handed a bronze medal to an athlete that had one of the worst performances in the womens vault finals.... It's crap like this that makes me want to not even support the Olympics at all. - Ryan32, on 08/18/2008, -0/+8What don't you get about how bad her vault was? She had a knock for execution when she hit the board, then she tanked the landing and hit her knees. Your telling me that rated a bronze medal?
I understand she had a higher start value, regardless she should have been out of medal contention when she ate ***** on that landing. Especially when you consider her difficulty wasn't THAT much higher than the girl she bumped. And the girl she bumped had two pretty solid landings.....
Apparently if things worked the way you seem to believe, every gymnast would just attempt a completely impossible routine, tank the ***** out of it, and still medal because of their "start value". Thats *****. - SnatchMoPutty, on 08/18/2008, -2/+10... not enough of an oppressive police presence depicted.
- sunsunych, on 08/18/2008, -2/+10impressive
- morpheus69, on 08/18/2008, -0/+7Man, if I ever posted an article entitled "Amazing Lego Reproductions of the Top 10 Hottest Female Olympic athletes and their iPhones" I think every digg user would have a collective orgasm...
- FeloniusMonkey, on 08/18/2008, -3/+8Photoshopped and enhanced with CGI.
- chocolatespoon, on 08/18/2008, -0/+5I love how everyone becomes an expert durring the olympics.
- AmericanGunner, on 08/18/2008, -0/+4Its ALWAYS something like Amazing Lego (insert creation) or AMAZING MIND BLOWING LEGOS.....
When will the front page just get a mediocre lego creation? - nezroy, on 08/18/2008, -1/+5Is the new scoring system really that hard for people to understand? Even though they stop to explain it every 20 minutes on NBC? Kudos to the Chinese gymnastics team (and, actually, almost every other team *except* the US) who figured out the system and adapted appropriately to it. A high difficulty score is pretty much a prerequisite to medal now. If you go into a routine almost a full point behind already just on difficulty, don't be surprised when you lose.
Granted, I feel they could be a little harsher with the execution scores now that the two components have been separated, and a fall should probably be more than a .3 deduction or whatever it is right now. But in general I think the new system is great as it forces more complex and interesting routines, and I'd rather see something amazing executed almost perfectly once in a while instead of the same boring and simple routines executed flawlessly over and over. - UberNick, on 08/18/2008, -2/+5No bloody Tibetan corpses?
- pradvan, on 08/18/2008, -0/+3Don't forget to add Obama in there.
- kestermatsumoto, on 08/18/2008, -2/+5I love how it looks like the Beijing Olympics, but in lego.
- dext3r, on 08/18/2008, -0/+3Those captions made me throw up a little bit. Sand and deliver? Chain reaction? Bleh.
- Mizzike, on 08/18/2008, -0/+3China: even Lego depictions of the Olympics have their own booth babes.
- mattdiggsit, on 08/18/2008, -0/+3If only they could move around...

- BoneStamp, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1Thanks. I mean, I don't know what the big deal is... I once had a Sri Lankan man tell me that I look like a freak of nature because I have blue eyes. I was not offended, I understood that it was because in his country all people look like him and nobody looks like me. If a Chinese man told me that all white people look the same I'd laugh and say that all Chinese people look the same and then we'd light up a doob and eat cheeseburgers. People need to lighten up... and lighting up is a good way to do it.
- CylonsOfTheLamb, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1damnit I don't care what anyone else thinks, that was pretty funny.
- asnider, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1I love how you state the obvious.
