- thePTS, on 07/15/2008, -1/+19You are probably some kind of idiot, but I'll explain it to you anyway: The concept of Manga is age-old in Japan, from way before "cartoons" came around. Manga was traded to Europe in the 1800s, and there were no GIANT FIGHTING ROBOTS there.
  
  The japanese made anime like Rocket Boy very early on, which was part of Japan's way out of the afterwar international disregard..
  
  Also, modern anime like Miyazaki's movies, Cowboy Bebop etc are high quality entertainment.. much more varied than most stuff coming out of Hollywood.

In the basement they have a massive vault behind glass that has thousands of early manga collections. It's a very quiet museum with children & their parents reading manga from the decades past.

  And the Osamu Tezuka Musuem in Takarazuka. That place is awesome.
