- nepidae, on 05/30/2009, -0/+9i liked the deathstar tree
- Benno, on 05/30/2009, -0/+9In the future, anti-air/spacecraft guns will shoot lasers but only be as accurate as WWII AA guns.
- Bobby1978, on 05/29/2009, -0/+7Not bad. I like the fact that some of the things are recognizable in today's era, things like taps, extinguishers, red-cross, LCDs, straps... giving the impression all that might not be too far off. Sortof like the Weyland-Yutami universe.
A lot of the futuristic concept artworks are so over the top and unrecognizable, that they're barely sci-fi. That is certainly good once in a while, but not when everyone's doing it, because then it's just generic. - spritom, on 05/30/2009, -0/+5My sister Regina-D2 lives here. She's a lez-bot.
- Borgcube636, on 05/30/2009, -0/+4Arcturis Spaceport. Not to be confused with Mos Eisley Spaceport, where you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
- Subduction, on 05/30/2009, -0/+4I'm glad we live in a time when run-of-the-mill is generally this good, but that doesn't make this any more than run-of-the-mill.

Are you up to the challenge?

- DaBrownGuy13, on 05/30/2009, -0/+2The first picture reminded me a little of Battlefield 2142.
- seeker11, on 05/30/2009, -0/+2agree.
- Sornos, on 05/30/2009, -0/+2Devil's Advocate: Could just be warning shots. Wouldn't be nice to vaporize some poor sap who didn't know he was trespassing.
- Mpwns, on 05/30/2009, -0/+2all that high tech stuff but the sinks stay the same.(last pic)
- nucleocide, on 05/30/2009, -0/+2EVE much?
- Culyt, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1Buh, people of the future have no need for taps!
- BelatedHero, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1Ground control to Major Tom...
- tand0m, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1When video games actually look like that type of concept art I will die a happy man.
(ya know, as long as it's in full VR and I can walk around touching, smelling and licking everything) - bencanfield, on 05/30/2009, -1/+2http://www.threadless.com/submission/40290/Darth_e ...

- sox101, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1This is Mass Effect! Either this guy worked for the developpers of Mass Effect, or his artwork is a ripoff. Take the first photo: that is almost the EXACT planet in which you find a tree that has taken over everyone's minds in mass effect. Also, the final picture looks very much like the inside of the Normandy. Coincidence?
- alexforcefive, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1All the Gawker sites look like that
- Virgule, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1yea I could sweat it's from the same artist. Definitely the same style. CCP does not appear on it's client list tho.
see what I mean: http://www.eveonline.com/background/potw/ - TehProphet, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1wow this guy needs to work for a good video game developer, once games actually look like this I will no longer have to upgrade my PC. It kind of reminds me of the graphics in one of those 3dMark benchmarks that runs at 10FPS on the latest hardware when they first come out.
- Subduction, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1Spam.
- Shawno1, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1I can imagine the future now.
- m3arvk, on 05/30/2009, -0/+1Can we get any of these at 1920x1200?
- nem0, on 05/30/2009, -0/+0Very Syd Meade
- thallium205, on 05/30/2009, -2/+2Did the webmaster copy and paste the design? For a second there I thought this was Gizmodo.
