I agree with you. - sexybobo, on 05/22/2008, -1/+6Here is my try at making an animation with the 2 so you don't have to cross your eyes. need to work on it more

- ehsteve23, on 05/22/2008, -0/+10Earthquake!!
- PaulOwen, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1Does anyone else get the impression that the magical 3D effect only really works well for the guy who made these?
- verynegative, on 05/22/2008, -3/+4fail.
- DemonDomen, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1Why don't you cross your eyes? It's simple and cool
- sexybobo, on 05/22/2008, -2/+4http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/3538/67957219eq ...
- stevenbrown, on 05/22/2008, -1/+2I can't look at these, because i cant see straight for a few hours after looking at them.
- kindrobot, on 05/22/2008, -4/+4The only way the human eyes see in 3d is with a "stereo pair". You know... eyes. So unless you're perceiving 3 dimensions with some other organ (perhaps it is placed inside something at the moment under your clothing), stereo pairs are pretty much it, buddy. VR, viewmaster, stereograms, anaglyphs, NORMAL VISION... etc. ALL examples of stereo pairs being viewed, no matter the method. 2 images seen by 2 eyes. THREE *****' D! POP! What was that noise? Did something burst, internet smart guy?
- desertDenizen, on 05/22/2008, -1/+2Stereoscopy is the original artificial 3D.
- DIAF, on 05/23/2008, -1/+1Yea these are steroscopic images. Nothing ground breaking as the author seems to imply.
They are not 3-D and have been around almost as long as photography has existed.
- dagorret, on 05/22/2008, -4/+1
- duddy, on 05/22/2008, -1/+28Is there some reason why someone hasn't made a quick porn clip in this manner?
- Pssdoff, on 05/22/2008, -0/+53Someone probably did figure out a method of creating 3D porn. Sadly the man who invented it is now too busy to leave his house and bring the technology to the rest of us.
- matude, on 05/22/2008, -1/+6There are tons of porn images in this manner.
I mean.. rumor has it that there is.. - TrevorPace, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1I imagine it would be made with just two side-by-side cameras. Then so people wouldn't have to be cross-eyed you can mix it like they do for the 3D IMAX.
- thesoprano, on 05/22/2008, -1/+4Requesting Rule 34 be in effect for stereoscopic images.
- championchap, on 05/22/2008, -0/+3You sir, need to lurk more.
Mighty common on the board. - nickisnt, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1Because masturbating while keeping your eyes crossed and focused on these picts is quite a feat to accomplish.
- DarkDx, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1I actually saw a thread in a chan about making porn images 3d. Sorry don't have URL HAHA
- chandan333, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Its all about clicking from the right Angle.

- theliamburns1, on 05/22/2008, -3/+1it really does snap into place. crazyness,
Let me tell you though, i just went out and bought Night Of the Living Dead 3d - a new remake of the old one. While it was funny, the 3d was the worst i have ever seen. I remember being a little kid and seeing some good ones with the red and blue glasses but this movie was terrible. - elephantay, on 05/22/2008, -7/+2magikarp karp karp!
- u8eR, on 05/22/2008, -0/+9I've always wonder what a one-armed girl in lingerie would look like in 3D.
- ahawks, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Why? Why did you have to point out the missing arm? Now its ruined for me :(
- DarkDx, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1People that went to check the image again after reading your comment: a LOT
- roseman5285, on 05/22/2008, -2/+2i call shenanigans, until i have a 3d screen, it will still be 2d...liars

That website is an atrocity and should be completely forgotten, like the holocaust.- Guitarsenal, on 05/22/2008, -0/+3Yeah, it is a little old-school. I've made all kinds of plans to fix it, but have never found the time to actually fix it.
- sadisticmind, on 05/22/2008, -0/+0Bum!
*gf asks if i see it in 3D*
"...3D?"
- tito13kfm, on 05/22/2008, -0/+7Holy 1998 Batman!
- thoriphes, on 05/22/2008, -3/+1AH! My eyes!
- D14BL0, on 05/22/2008, -1/+2I love a happy ending.
- D14BL0, on 05/22/2008, -4/+3Ok, these are actually pretty poor quality. The spacing between lenses is not accurate.
- snowcrazy, on 05/22/2008, -5/+2Wonder if you can cause damage to your eyes straining them for that long? Guess I'll just keep staring and see...maybe I'll make a digg article...maybe my blindness will make the front PAGE!!!!
- ahawks, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1wah wah wah. No. Your eyes are designed to cross in order to detect depth. We do more damage to our eyes staring at tv/computer screens for hours at a time.
- krisscofield, on 05/22/2008, -3/+1Rule #34 in 3....2....1...
- CYG101, on 05/22/2008, -0/+3I stared too long at the chick and now i cant bring my eyes back to the original position, HELP!
- ktk1336, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1Didn't your mamma tell you that masturbation will lead to BLINDNESS???
- sooocrazyduney, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1i thought that was pretty awesome!
- openaddy, on 05/22/2008, -2/+6They're just stereoscopic images.. They've been around since the 1840s. What so crazy about them?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereoscopy
There's a company called Loreo that makes a camera attachment for many D/SLRs that will take a left/right image in one photo. This makes taking stereoscopic images a snap (no pun) and allows you to do so with moving subjects. I have one, and it's a lot of fun. - peaceninja, on 05/22/2008, -0/+43D Stereograms (ie Magic Eyes) normally use the 'parallel eye' technique as opposed to the 'cross-eyed' technique. These photographs are all cross-eyed technique (you can tell by trying the parallel eye technique and everything is inversed and inside-out, the back of the room becomes the foreground, etc).
Anyways, I believe it's been illustrated that the parallel eye technique (which requires relaxation of the eyes) can actually help eyesight. And the cross-eyed technique to me strains my eyes. So I just thought I would put this thought out there that whatever movement that this article is speaking of in the photography and video world, that the parallel eye technique should be favored over the cross-eyed technique. And besides, just flipping the two images would then mean that you would use the parallel eye technique over the cross-eyed technique anyways.- GoatCheez, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1I found that cross-eyed technique images appear to blury for me. It's hard if not impossible to get a clean sharp 3D view using the cross-eyed technique.
- 3Dimka, on 05/22/2008, -0/+0crosseyed technique allows viewing large sized images, that's why it's very common in stereo photography.
- ioio32l, on 05/22/2008, -0/+0Almost quit then i found the instructions and got it figured out.. iwas trying to cross my eyes too much
- liljay2k, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1Goddamit, I hurt my eyes doin this *****
- desertDenizen, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1That's because they screwed it up. Switch left with right and try again... MUCH better.
- funk13, on 05/22/2008, -0/+6well that gave me a headache, which does not help a hangover. dugg for kicking me when i'm down.
- wanderingsun, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1I used to be able to see these before I got glasses - now I just feel nauseated. :(
- requiem3, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1Holy *****! I just got it down. Guys if your eyes are hurting, or if you feel like you're putting too much effort into it, you're doing it wrong. When you get it down, there'll be little to no effort needed to keep it locked in place. Quite a spectacular technique.
- voetsjoeba, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Hey, you're right! I just got it, pretty cool. It's all about finding the right distance from the screen. Once you've got it, you can even scroll down without having to redo it for every image.
- Iwantawii, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2That's what she said.
- BryanG412, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Is it a schooner?
- sadisticmind, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1no dumbass! its a sail boat!
- Iwantawii, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1Say, would you like a chocolate covered pretzel?
- sadisticmind, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1no dumbass! its a sail boat!
- JonnySokko, on 05/22/2008, -0/+0what an amazing way to fuel headaches and frustration! it's rewarding when you finally get it though
- xpliclt777, on 05/22/2008, -0/+12You think that's impressive, check these 3D images out http://www.ranum.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album= ... Warning! NSFW!
- mrinsanity, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1Awesome, but I think some of them are reversed.
- 3Dimka, on 05/22/2008, -2/+0if you have flickr account:
http://flickr.com/groups/3dnudes/
http://flickr.com/groups/3dglamour/ - DNABeast, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1They look so tiny.
- thetipster, on 05/22/2008, -0/+5I find this method way better than the usual stereograms that you have to relax your eyes for.... crossing your eyes is, at least for me, very damn easy.. but trying to move them outwards is really hard. Not to mention those other stereograms suck, seeing 3d shapes in the midst of colored garbage. These are actually full color pictures, I want more!
- 3Dimka, on 05/22/2008, -0/+0I disagree, some of stereograms were really nice - http://hidden-3d.com/stereogram_gallery.php
- DarkDx, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Yep, move them outwards is pretty danm ufcking hard for me too. Crosseyes FTW
- zhenate, on 05/22/2008, -6/+2That was not worth the effort.
- verynegative, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1youre doing it wrong.
- Steven8890, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2We need a spread eagle shot STAT!
- DemonDomen, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Someone should make a movie
- dtfinch, on 05/22/2008, -0/+3I had no trouble crossing my eyes while retaining clear focus. But afterwards, when I uncrossed, everything was blurry for a couple minutes, and my eyes kept trying to re-cross. It was easier to look at those stereo photos than it is to look at everything else. I feel old now. My vision used to be 20/13, and not 20/10 because I missed one letter on the bottom row, but I haven't been tested in a while.
- fas2, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1This is so extremely cool!! Took me a while though.
- Witchbaby, on 05/22/2008, -2/+2I can't do it.
- sadisticmind, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2ah cool! its a sail boat!
- JamesDiggem, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1you beat me to it! Gj sir
- Chalks777, on 05/22/2008, -0/+9From the article's comments: "I don’t come to DPS [Digital Photography School] to see pornography. And I won’t be back again."
This person has not been on The Internet long enough... that hardly counted as pornography.- roflbrothel, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1You have no idea how hard it was for me to refrain from trolling that person.
- Enuggie, on 05/22/2008, -2/+0Finally did it! Not sure about you all... took me a good 5 mins to get it. Frustrating at first... easiest was the bug. Was crossing my eyes too much...
- endemicjpv, on 05/22/2008, -1/+0I can get my eyes crossed looking at the pen tip, but can't figure out how to look at the screen without having my eyes refocus.
- SirZac, on 05/22/2008, -2/+0my eyes hurt!
- mrinsanity, on 05/22/2008, -1/+5I can't do it! ***** THING SUCKS!
- dustindame, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1I hear that *****, just look like ***** pictures.
I wish i could see it. - DpNo1, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1just cross your eyes so that its like a third image in the middle appears and then just sorta relax your eyes, tbh it comes rather natural for me.
- stvanchimo, on 05/22/2008, -0/+0there's no words there!
- dustindame, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1I hear that *****, just look like ***** pictures.
- freakk123, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Am I the only one whose mind was blown when they got it to work? Like, seriously, that's some cool *****.
- Fluffycheese, on 05/22/2008, -1/+1I'm struggling to see them- though I did get them to work using the veiwfinder built into to the tool 10000 days cd - you have to be like 4 inches away from the screen though...and now i have serious eye strain!
- OldNumber7, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I just used that.
- Digisphere, on 05/22/2008, -0/+4Found some other really cool cross eye 3d pictures
http://milked.free.fr/crossmodels/index.html
Be sure to check out the bridge
http://milked.free.fr/crossmodels/BBpont_crossed.j ... - mrinsanity, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1actually I have no problem whatsoever doing these. I used to take crosseye stereo pair screenshots in quake when I was 9 just for fun. But for so many posts of "***** THING SUCKS" that don't make any sense, i figured this could be one of those times it actually fit.
- alpinweiss88, on 05/22/2008, -1/+0The goggles, they do nothing!
some basic instruction would be nice....
I got it to work by crossing my eyes until I saw 3 images, then you just focus in on the middle one. - JamesDiggem, on 05/22/2008, -2/+1Crappy quality video. For all the people who can't see it!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=rD0J_MSDqfc
Mallrats sailboat scene - fudged71, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2There is stereoscopic porn out there. Great motivation to learn how to keep your eyes crossed, hahaha
- desertDenizen, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1The images are reversed. Switch left with right and they suddenly look great... much more pop and less eye strain.
