- punchinelli, on 05/16/2009, -0/+64The Spider-man one is awesome!
- inactive, on 05/16/2009, -2/+5385 tatoos on 1 page.
This I can digg. - serenejen, on 05/15/2009, -4/+39That Einstein tattoo is bad ass!
- GabrielDunn, on 05/16/2009, -3/+36What happened to real tats and tat artists? I am so sick of tv inkers getting all the talk. Those tats were blase at best. I saw the title of this and was stoked to see something new. How many ***** coy fish do we need to see before we all get over it?
- alacran7, on 05/16/2009, -2/+25the spiderman tattoo was soooooooo ***** cool
- kylethompson1, on 05/16/2009, -0/+21Most of these are just average. A few great ones, but most arent that good.
- algaeturd, on 05/16/2009, -2/+22The tattoo that everyone has is a japanese Koi fish. It represents perserverance in adversity and strength of purpose.
So basically it's the starter tattoo when people just don't know what else to get. I hate to say it, but it's true.
When you see someone with a koi, it's basically the pseudo-intellectual's Tasmania Devil.
And of course this will get dugg down because 85% of Diggers with tattoos probably have Koi to represent how they overcame living in their mom and dad's basement. - notBrit, on 05/16/2009, -0/+13Here, let me fix the title for you:
82 absurd and retarded tattoos and 3 mediocre ones. - SanDiablo78, on 05/16/2009, -1/+13Mediocre tattoos are mediocre.
- ziarczak, on 05/16/2009, -0/+9This thumbnail is Coat of arms of Poland. THANKS!
- TrevorBelmont, on 05/16/2009, -0/+9That title is unacceptable.
- DeskFlyer, on 05/15/2009, -0/+8http://www.newswise.com/articles/view/525020/?sc=r ...
- gmiley, on 05/16/2009, -0/+8Just make sure it's something you really like. If you have a design you are thinking about getting, put it on paper, and hang it up somewhere where you will see it the majority of the day: office, living room, etc and if you aren't sick of it after several months or so, go for it. If you decide you don't like it, alter it some or find something new, and repeat the process.
- inkubusfan, on 05/16/2009, -1/+9highlights:
Einstein
Spiderman (and the chick right above it, NICE)
venus fly traps
Rocketeer panels
to name a few.... - c0ncept, on 05/16/2009, -0/+7There are some really badass ones, but some aren't really above average looking.
- kinobe, on 05/16/2009, -0/+7Sorry but about a quarter of those tattoos are absolute *****. And the title is pretty stupid, my pinky has more inspiration than those tats.
- lazycat, on 05/15/2009, -5/+12So, what is the health toll of filling so many skin cells with ink? Are there any scientific studies?
- sithyiscool, on 05/16/2009, -0/+6Bro, check out this sweet tribal arm band I just got. I'm such a badass, I'm gonna get chicks like all the time
- unradical, on 05/16/2009, -4/+9Who cares, I doubt when I'm 85 I'm going to give a crap what I look like physically. My skin will be all wrinkly and spotted, etc.. some faded tattoos will be the least of my worries.
- btraxx, on 05/16/2009, -2/+785 images on one page should be the inspiring part.
- EarthernJar, on 05/16/2009, -0/+4Needs follow-up pics in 30 years when all the fine detail lines blur...
- eanbowman, on 05/16/2009, -1/+5Someone might guess at your religious stance by that comment but I think you mean to point out that even if you are of faith, they're pretty badly done. :|
- mogebier, on 05/16/2009, -5/+9Some of them are nice. Most really make me want to question the people's sanity. Why the F would a sane person want some of those on their skin, forever?
Oh wait, anything looks good when you are stoned or drunk. That makes sense now. - d3sapar3cid0, on 05/16/2009, -0/+4These pictures just made me rethink all of my plans for tattoos. 90% of the ones on this page are retarded.
- eatsushi, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3Not as fun as the stupid tat's.
Dugg. - algaeturd, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3Dugg BY the side boob?
That's a powerful boob that it can digg with just its side! - cheerfulcynic, on 05/16/2009, -1/+4yeah, because people of one culture can't love things from another culture ever
- eanbowman, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3I now own a Koi fish. It was part of my birthday present. Should I be Japanese now too? D:
OSHI!

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_a_koi_fish_tat ... おもしろいです。 - Metalcard, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3You can ask the artist directly here: http://danhazeltondotcom.deviantart.com/art/newt10 ...
And yeah, its a real tat, not paint. - mc88, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3What was that, an ad for Miami and L.A. Ink?
What about Sarzoki Zsolt - http://tiny.cc/43wER or Victor Portugal - http://tiny.cc/5RHKm - NismoTigerWVU, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3Dug for the Polish coat of arms
quick, someone get me this one
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d ...
Just a little more fitting considering my ethnicity - gryllen, on 05/16/2009, -1/+3It makes me sad that almost all of those tattoos are from TV shows, there are so many amazing artists many of which are just as good or better than the ones on tv.
http://www.swastika-freakshop.de/en/tattoo.html - MushinVin, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2No Zune guy?
Rubbish. (And yes, /s) - zaren, on 05/16/2009, -2/+4"koi".
Though I must admit to being disappointed to see Miami Ink's crew so grossly over represented here. Kat's got some killer portrait work, but still, it's nice to see other people's work. - portnoy, on 05/16/2009, -8/+10As someone that works with a lot of middle aged people I think I can say with some authority that those tattoos are really going to look gross in a couple decades. Kids, don't get tattoos unless you either want to totally gross people out when you get older or have totally and irreversibly intend not to get older!
- zomgflamer, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2http://www.swastika-freakshop.de/gallery/archiv/22 ...
wow - 8FoldPath, on 05/15/2009, -1/+3Some really nice work there. I see a lot of fish tatts. What is the symbolism there (besides the obvious Christian one)?
- kestermatsumoto, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2I take it English isn't this writer's first language. Lots of fairly average tattoos, but the comic panels, the venus fly trap and the girl with the Japanese style plants climbing up her back were all pretty nice.
- eanbowman, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2Thanks, that was an interesting read. It's not terribly surprising.
- pstroll, on 05/16/2009, -1/+3Best of the bunch http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl0/1/13255/03_ ...
- whiledo, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2Don't you mean rhetorical?
(I see what I did there.) - jsauter, on 05/16/2009, -1/+3At least they are nicer to look at then the barbed wire...
- SirRealist, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2Comments that generalize people based on personal feelings make people look dumb. Grats.
- SirRealist, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2The only reason to check out the link IMO.
- JackDud, on 05/16/2009, -0/+1Isn't that Anakin Skywalker?
- SirRealist, on 05/16/2009, -0/+1Agreed. Garver is the only one truly deserving to be on that list. Maybe, MAYBE, Kat. Her portrait work is amazing. Garver was a legend before any of this tv ***** started. The rest of the artists on these shows are good, but no means among the best the art has to offer.
- alerx, on 05/16/2009, -5/+6Welcome to a world of ***** girls with STDs
- reddfoxx1562, on 05/16/2009, -2/+3Buried for ugly-as-***** Elvis tattoo in the first five displayed, and also for the fact that you can see body art this good wherever you find groups of people over the age of 16 piled together smoking cigarettes and drinking PBR.
- fonderplague, on 05/16/2009, -0/+1So true. Koi fish is this generations barbed wire tat.
- gryllen, on 05/17/2009, -0/+1Do you even know what swastikas actually signify?
