4,500 pairs of Latvians mittens are handmade for NATO Summit
rigasummit.lv — The 4,500 pairs of mittens were specially knit by hundreds of women and men (ranging in age from 30 to 86) for the Riga NATO Summit 2006 in Latvia. Each pair features a unique design, utilizing a wide variety of traditional colors, patterns and symbols. The article includes a 200 MB .rar to download photos of all the mittens.
