You'd think they'd have learned something by now... - KingMattus, on 08/21/2008, -1/+23I love this stuff, i think it's imaginative and avoids any sort of trouble with DA LAW (Arnie baby).
Brill!
Here's another wiCkED video of the skull piece [uber-coolness...]
http://blog.wired.com/underwire/2007/10/dirty-tric ... - wmelon, on 08/22/2008, -0/+22I like to draw nuts on dirty trucks as well. Sometimes it's hard to get the detail to really give them justice. I mean cashews and peanuts are rather easy, but when you get to walnuts and brazil nuts it's next to impossible! Especially on some of today's modern vehicles, with their curves and plastic cladding.
- empeethree, on 08/21/2008, -3/+19i wish i had talent like that.
- ho0ber, on 08/22/2008, -0/+15I love how you got completely derailed and focused on truck nuts.
- graemee, on 08/22/2008, -5/+19They forgot the true ORIGINAL, "WASH ME"
- inactive, on 08/21/2008, -5/+18This is incredible!

Very creative. That's a good way to make an artistic statement that I never would have thought of. Some of the talent shown is amazing. - ZackScott, on 08/22/2008, -5/+15Pretty cool if you ask me. Reverse graffiti (spelling?) is cool because you're not harming anything. You're saying "clean up." It is two statements in one: one artistic, one semi-political. Like carpet in a church. I actually performed a reverse graffiti when I was young without knowing better. Like most kids, I loved to clean cars in interesting places. I even drew nuts (and a penis) on a truck, so I feel like I should be getting partial credit for truck nuts. Of course, mine were not rubber, so they weren't 100% the same. It's the last tenth of a percent that gets you though. But today, I like to pretend those were my clever years, even though I know better.
Why don't they make truck nuts that respond to the temperature? - diskit, on 08/22/2008, -2/+125 pages?!
Jesus ***** Christ. - BrettFromTibet, on 08/21/2008, -3/+13this was a really cool article....incredible!
- Halgy, on 08/22/2008, -1/+9Oh God, I can feel the website dieing a slow and painful death.
- Icyfenix, on 08/22/2008, -0/+8Dude are you drunk?
- schlongmeister, on 08/22/2008, -0/+8or the always classic "I Wish My Wife Was This Dirty."

- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -0/+6That crap was there even if it rained. I guess it'll stay on.
- Huangism, on 08/22/2008, -0/+6what if it rains? the picture would melt like on the horror movies
- _skin_, on 08/22/2008, -0/+6No they didn't. It was on the airplane wing.
- mogebier, on 08/22/2008, -1/+7Much better than defacing property by spray painting it.
- Sepeteus, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5No they didn't. Check page 4, pic 6.
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -0/+5PLUS you have to click on each damn link to see the full version, PLUS it takes forever to load each page.... screw that, I have better things to do with my time.
- nunquam, on 08/22/2008, -0/+5It's a very creative idea but the only thing that annoys me is that it has been jumped upon by advertising companies where I live because technically it's just 'cleaning'. Loads of the pavements in my city are covered with ads.
EDIT: Like this, http://www.streetadvertisingservices.com/userimage ... - doublefelix, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4So, is it illegal to selectively clean someones walls?
- IphtashuFitz, on 08/22/2008, -1/+5That one of the kid in the car reminded me of the A-ha video "Take on me".
/showing my age...
edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUod3jGQt0U - twiztidsinz, on 08/22/2008, -0/+4Guess you're not one for sandcastles either....
- MattB123, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3I like. This makes me want to find something dirty to make some art.
- yojiffyskippy, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3He does seem to have superhuman focus on truck nuts.
- ipek, on 08/22/2008, -2/+5Some really talented dudes over there.
- twiztidsinz, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3But they're still "a huge waste" as the tide comes in and wipes them out... genius.
Also.. I guess you haven't seen some of the really intricate ones that show up on digg every so often. - digginaround, on 08/22/2008, -2/+5This is by far one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
- joegibes, on 08/22/2008, -1/+4Especially since the authorities are forced to remove the graffiti by CLEANING the surface, thereby benefiting the area and providing a service.
- zooey1234, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3I'm amazed at the creativity that some people can come up with. It really brightened up my day.
- Canuck, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3The dirt that they were removing to create the pictures has been there for a very long time now. Also, I don't think the ones in the transport tunnel will ever see rain.
- MaxIsBored, on 08/23/2008, -0/+3But I have been putting penises on my girlfriends cars' for ages...
- LongBong, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3thats amazing, i don't see how anyone could see that negatively. just good old fashion art.
- SirBloody, on 08/23/2008, -0/+3like so: http://www.atheistsavior.com/images/***** ...
- yojiffyskippy, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2One of the pictures (Mona Lisa?) had a before/after rain shot.
- Attol, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2Technically, no this isn't vandalism.
Using actual paint to deface someone's property is vandalism. - Rhodamine, on 08/22/2008, -1/+3Fail

Sometimes bigger IS better ;-) - 0tis, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2Dugg for "like carpet in a church", and you know I'd digg it again for "truck nuts" if I could.
- mogebier, on 08/22/2008, -1/+3But they rarely ever clean off the graffiti. Look all around NY, it's a cesspool of defacement.
- Jade10145, on 08/22/2008, -1/+3Very awesome...But I cringe to think that there are people out there who consider this vandalism (FTA first paragraph)
- mechfluff, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9-Te-DPbSE&feature ...
- SamanthaMll, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2you do know the Internet doesn't revolve around you
- hangman16, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2I really like this. I can see how some people might be offended by something like the skulls since it is 'dark' art that not everyone likes (I like it myself personally - if it's done right). The flowers and trees however shouldn't be offensive to anyone; it is tasteful and improves an otherwise dingy street.
- LavaWarrior, on 08/23/2008, -0/+1How the hell did they get the wash me on that jet?
- cavtb, on 08/27/2008, -0/+1does anyone know if there are any reverse/clean graffiti photo books?
