- 68024, on 10/30/2009, -0/+22That photo of the bridge at sunset is not a long exposure.
- thebeginning, on 10/30/2009, -1/+18Some seriously beautiful work in there. Far better than that uncomfortable HDR crap.
- alapoet, on 10/29/2009, -3/+17I've always been fascinated with time exposure photographs, and these are some great ones!

Edit: Awesome. Now its up and I look like a dumbass. - apackofmonkeys, on 10/30/2009, -0/+13What is this? A photo for ants? It needs to be at least 3 times as big!
- AwsmGy, on 10/30/2009, -0/+12Here's my own personal favorite long exposure of mine: http://www.flickr.com/photos/29534311@N06/32520793 ...
- non00b, on 10/30/2009, -0/+11Dugg for being interesting non-HDR photos
- bush, on 10/30/2009, -1/+10Here's one I took of an LED frisbee at night:

- drethedog, on 10/30/2009, -1/+9mirror?
Here is my try on long exposure.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/dresilver/3067664846/ ... - Jbruster, on 10/29/2009, -0/+7Its nice that not all of them are just cars, it seems like every long exposure list is always made up of at least half of just traffic shots.
- dysphonix, on 10/30/2009, -0/+7Some are simply HDR....
- wild, on 10/30/2009, -1/+8The list of women that have turned you down?
- DrDigg, on 10/30/2009, -1/+7Well here is my shot at a several minute long exposure with a shuttle launch.
http://m.flickr.com/photos/47147838@N00/3040064412 ... - CB810, on 10/29/2009, -1/+7I don't think I'd have the patience to take these type of photos...
- Snoogs, on 10/30/2009, -0/+5There were a few HDR's in there.
- motivatedguy, on 10/30/2009, -0/+5The one out in the snow is surreal... And awesome.
- robungar, on 10/30/2009, -0/+5Go on...
- theloofa, on 10/30/2009, -0/+5down for me too
http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/http://pelfusio ... - yunus, on 10/30/2009, -0/+5They probably didn't recognize them as HDR because they are not the in your face extreme HDR pictures.
- i23Photography, on 10/30/2009, -8/+13When you say photographer, you mean you have an SLR?
- vwllss, on 10/30/2009, -6/+11I know this isn't nearly as good as those in the link, but I'm a photographer and I just took this recently so I figured I might contribute:

As for going "Wahh, my copyrights" do whatever you want with it as long as you don't claim you took it. Be cool if you said who it's from.
Definitely love these though, I feel like I can learn a lot just looking at them. - Duncast, on 10/30/2009, -0/+4While we are all comparing long exposure shots, heres one of mine of the galaxy: http://www.svenstudios.com/crap/cust.jpg
On DA: http://heeeeman.deviantart.com/art/Custodian-12664 ... - adamward, on 10/30/2009, -4/+8Pretty cool. I was at a concert a week or two ago and was experimenting with the same type of zoom & long exposure. It makes some really cool effects.

Not trying to call attention to myself, but that's what I came out with. I love long exposure stuff. There's so many options and styles. - jr2037, on 10/30/2009, -0/+4*some mind blowing photography this is
- Whereisthevan, on 10/30/2009, -0/+4People were on the bridge walkway and there were cars on the inside lanes. Also, the camera was looking right at the sun, so unless the F-stop was pretty small, you'd need a pretty short shutter speed to prevent overexposure.
- footbag01, on 10/30/2009, -0/+4Very nice pictures, but I'm not sure all of them are long exposure.
- joelcass, on 10/30/2009, -0/+3The only one I caught as not a long exp was the one on the Brooklyn bridge. It was nice to see a variety of subjects.
- kunnavang, on 10/30/2009, -0/+3The majority of these are HDR (tonal mapping) and long exposure. Some are simply HDR, unless the photographer managed to find a bridge that allows cars to park on all 3 lanes.
- junaeroplane, on 10/30/2009, -1/+4its easier than it looks! and fun!
- logic6, on 10/30/2009, -2/+5How do you know that van wasn't parked?
- amcnair, on 10/30/2009, -0/+3*this are some mind blowing photography
- JonProject, on 10/30/2009, -2/+5*this is some mind blowing photography
- aasukisuki, on 10/30/2009, -0/+2For non-photographers, what does the usual photoshop post-production work include?
- Duncast, on 10/30/2009, -0/+214mm, 400ISO, 2.8f, bit less than 2mins actually, more like 90s. I used a Nikon D700 and the usual photoshop post-production work.
- JCougar, on 10/30/2009, -3/+5Inspiring.
/s - stanggt3, on 10/30/2009, -1/+3All the anti-HDR people on here aren't clever enough to know that MANY of these are HDR's. So you just complemented HDR without knowing it. Good one.
Don't dislike something because you dont know or cant do the process....enjoy it for what its worth. - Sraser, on 10/30/2009, -0/+2It's not that we hate HDR.
It's that we hate what HDR is capable of. - JCougar, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2@i23... I just took a look at your flickr account, and let me say, you sure have a knack for taking stunning photos. Perhaps, one day, I will see your art gracing the pages of the Point Pleasant Register. If you're really lucky, you may even get your photos featured on Deviant Art! Deviant Art is the BEST!
- JCougar, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2I'm just having fun. My brother is a photographer and has taught me to be rather critical of photos. It took him about 10 years to really figure it out, technically and conceptually speaking. I wish you the best of luck. Photography is an incredibly difficult profession for one to make a name.
- tacojohn48, on 10/31/2009, -0/+28=============> (not to scale)
- nedy78, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1Enjoyed the photograph of a frozen Lake Michigan and Chicago's skyline.
- antdude, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1http://rorr.im/digg.com/arts_culture/26_eye_catchi ... for those who block referrers.
- i23Photography, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Thanks JCougar. I sense your sarcasm, but I have higher hopes than that. I have overcome criticism and I use it to make myself stronger and better. I've done better than the Point Pleasant Register and I know that one day I will make it. I will not stop trying.
- FamilyGuy, on 10/30/2009, -1/+2Those are some pretty great looking pictures. If only I could find some exact pictures like those in 1280 x 800!
- dugggy, on 10/30/2009, -0/+1was recently assigned this, he makes me look like *****. awesome stuff :)
