- silver26, on 03/03/2009, -1/+16The title says 20, yet it's 10. I want my internet money back.
Having 2 articles that I have to click through don't count. - inactive, on 03/03/2009, -8/+16Boring generic tips as always.
The main thing is - if you are an aspiring amateur photographer - is get out there and shoot what you like. Be comfortable with your subjects and also get comfortable with your equipment! Learn how to use it and make it work the way you want it. I know it sounds generic as well, but doing things yourself will yield better results in the long run than following any rules or classes or suggestions from blogs. It's nice to get ideas from the web and other photographers, but try not to be influenced by them *too* much. The thing that makes art beautiful is the personal touch of the individual. - inactive, on 03/03/2009, -11/+1920 ways to take a giant dump.
1) Just do it
2) Aim it
3) Let it burn
4)Feel the pain
5) Scream and shout
6) Smell what the rock is cooking
7) Take a giant man ***** on your girlfriends dads face and say now what ***** face!
8) Take another giant ***** on his face to make sure he smells it - Sharky35, on 03/03/2009, -0/+6The word Stunning is stunningly overused, on Digg.
- TheMidnight, on 03/03/2009, -1/+720 != 10
- riyehn, on 03/04/2009, -0/+411. Boobies
- fsweep, on 03/03/2009, -7/+11so.... taking a photo of a woman's leg on the street is a "portrait?"
I guess I have been doing it all wrong. I thought by definition it included a face. - KevinJLGB, on 03/03/2009, -7/+11Buried for unoriginal pile o' crap. "Stunning" images come from originality and not by copying others works. It's all good and dandy to get inspired by different works, but come on.
- jstem1994, on 03/03/2009, -0/+4Step #1 practice
Step #2 repeat - Piontek, on 03/03/2009, -1/+4this is *****, he totally ripped this off from somewhere.. "the rest tomorrow" my ass.. i've seen this exact same article before with the exact same pictures
- verynegative, on 03/03/2009, -0/+2***** this.
- CleoQKazoo, on 03/03/2009, -0/+2The article is not telling you to copy anyone, its giving you different ways to approach photography
- slickrocktrail, on 03/03/2009, -0/+1That is funny. I think I got digged down because they thought I was chick. 180 to 250 (part from weight lifting) isn't as bad a a 5'3" chick going from 110 to 180.
- Calcularius, on 03/04/2009, -0/+1I was stunned by none.
Should have been titled: Formula for Mediocrity. - wrestlingnrj, on 03/03/2009, -0/+1I think this should point you in the right direction

- brunonfsantos, on 03/03/2009, -0/+0you can do it with photoshop's "photomerge" too.
- auto_exec, on 03/03/2009, -1/+1FAIL! That's a chick, not a dude...
"i tend to photograph trin from above.
possibly because she is little."
LOL - Devaney, on 03/03/2009, -1/+1HA, the items around the first kid's bed show how much of a chronic masturbator that dude is...jeez clean up your lotion and used kleenexs if you're taking portraits.
- Jisan, on 03/03/2009, -3/+2repeat digg!
- slickrocktrail, on 03/03/2009, -3/+2Will this help me take a good facebook photo (even though now I am 70 lbs heavier than high school)?
- garlicdeath, on 03/03/2009, -1/+0This list was a huge disappointment. I consider myself a complete amateur and most of this I figured out from common sense when I first started snapping shots.
Also, where were the other 10? ***** list. Might as well advertise free-never-downloaded-before porn videos of hot asian amateurs who do it all and DONT CRY during it (***** japanese porn)... but promise it tomorrow after everyone already visits your page. - inactive, on 03/03/2009, -4/+2Well said mah boi.
- EssPii, on 03/03/2009, -7/+2It takes a camera and an imagination, not browsing flickr until you find something you like and copying it...
http://esspea-photography.com/blog/ - arfsb, on 03/03/2009, -7/+2you're right, you have been doing it all wrong
- NoozeHound, on 03/02/2009, -13/+8Nice find, thanks.
- xCIone, on 04/15/2009, -12/+6cool tips.
- isurfaddict, on 03/02/2009, -10/+3Nice blog on photography techniques. Thanks!
- inactive, on 03/02/2009, -11/+4Well-written explanation.
- malanic, on 03/03/2009, -11/+2I recently found a cool little program as a free demo version called 'autostitch'. It's a bit like Gigapan except you have to manually take the photos. Just load the pics into the program and it automatically stitches them together in all the right places giving you a 360 degree panorama, or a continuous series of pictures taken from a moving platform, e.g. a moving ferry perspective of a coastline.
I've been using it to take pictures of the renovations inside my house. My cheap camera doesn't have a wide angle, but I can easily stitch several pics together to give a nice wide view inside a room.;
