- SAZ2800, on 06/30/2009, -1/+6No mention of Chicago's fireworks at Lake Michigan?
- gortface, on 06/30/2009, -2/+5Fantasmic is by far the best. <3 Disneyland
- inactive, on 06/30/2009, -3/+5Really? Womansday.com? Marked as NSFM.
- deleted23, on 06/30/2009, -0/+2I doubt that you've seen all of these. I haven't seen Disney's fireworks on July 3 or 4, but I've seen there normal display, and it's quite good. Also, bringing up the fireworks displays in other countries does not in any way invalidate this list, since it's about fireworks on Independence Day.
- gortface, on 06/30/2009, -1/+2Kaboom is by far the best. <3 San Francisco
- lis880, on 07/01/2009, -0/+1Fireworks are no fun unless youre doing them yourself
- silverchrysalis, on 06/30/2009, -1/+2no mention of Red, White and Boom in c-bus, OH? boo.
- Trigonometron, on 06/30/2009, -0/+1Burying this article is the most spectacularly patriotic thing I will do today. Who gives 2 cents about "this particular list of things"? Where we go for the 4th (a lake near BFE, Texas), there are about 20 fireworks shows all going on at once. Do those get mention in this list? No, and there are a kajillion other lakes in TX, and around the country. And that's just fireworks shows on lakes! Let's not leave out the literally thousands of fireworks shows across the land, from sea to shining sea. And I'm spent.
- inactive, on 06/30/2009, -3/+4Louisville fireworks display are by far better than any of these.
- brisketplease, on 06/30/2009, -1/+2i disagree! the such and such celebration in some place or other should have been mentioned in this list. crytime for this important omission.
- 8347, on 06/30/2009, -1/+2How could they miss my sparkler and snake show I have every year!!
- inactive, on 06/30/2009, -0/+1its the same thing as thunder, just no fireworks on 2nd street and big four bridge.
- MrThirsty, on 06/30/2009, -1/+2My favorite one was _________
- jshhmr, on 06/30/2009, -1/+2No mention of Reflection of Earth PLUS the 4th fireworks at the end at EPCOT? I've seen many shows in my day but that is by far the best.
- johnsweber, on 06/30/2009, -0/+1while thunder over louisville is greater than any of these, it's not on the 4th of july, so it doesn't apply to this article. ;)
i've not seen the downtown louisville fireworks for the 4th, i recently moved into a condo with a skyline view of the city, so i'm looking forward to what they will show! - blofeld9999, on 06/30/2009, -1/+1No love for San Francisco? I'm checking out Treasure Island this year to hopefully see Fireworks all around the Bay Area at the same time. - cuoops, on 06/30/2009, -1/+1Womansday has been on the front page a lot lately.
I watched the one in Houston a few years back. I think it was the biggest in the world at the time. It wasn't even July 4 when they did it. - bubba9999, on 06/30/2009, -1/+1You should keep your snake show to yourself... :)
- richmeister1066, on 06/30/2009, -0/+0that surprised me too

That's not what the Digg generation wants. Video's with lots of shiny explosions and minimal preamble.
++ for getting it on the one page. - Linguo, on 06/30/2009, -7/+2The one at the hollywood bowl sucks ass. In fact all of these suck ass. Look how they do fireworks celebrations in Europe and Asian. It will blow your ***** mind.
