one of the many things I don't miss about PCs
i27.tinypic.com — a friend of mine tried to showoff a computer he recently ordered from dell. i just couldn't look past the fact that 90% of the detailed stats hardly had anything to do with the hardware he purchased.

- BenDigital, on 03/05/2008, -3/+4I second that
- KenSPT, on 03/05/2008, -4/+1I knew a guy named PC once, he died after a run in with a cougar ...
- coheedcollapse, on 03/05/2008, -0/+7If it bothers you, order all of your parts from newegg and build it yourself. I bought a decent gaming rig composed of seven parts (motherboard, processor, graphics card, ram, hard drive, DVD RW, case) that was delivered in a week and cost less than $550. No hassle, no mess, no stupid pre-installed crap. Also, putting it together is ridiculously easy.
- DiggLive, on 03/05/2008, -0/+2Shhh, Apple doesn't want their users to know that. They like the image better when comparing Macs to crap pre-loaded PCs with Celeron processors and Intel graphics.
- Sparkster185, on 03/05/2008, -0/+3I love the 4th one from the bottom. "No Preinstalled Software"
- intellimouse, on 03/05/2008, -2/+4No Preinstalled Software means that none of that software is actually installed for you, you get it on discs. Idiot.
- majordickhead, on 03/05/2008, -2/+1that is more than "one" thing.. the title should say: "some of the many things I don't miss about PCs"
- philthetechie, on 03/05/2008, -0/+2nothing to do with PCs... just Dells' ***** services. Dugg anyways
- monkbit, on 03/05/2008, -1/+1The person who made this picture obviously knows very little about computers. If you are buying a computer that is pre-built, expect it to be filled with crap. Any half-intelligent person can build their own computer that comes with only the things they need.
Oh, by the way, the monitor has a glossy screen with a Matte finish on the backing. The tower is Jet Black with a Matte finish. Still confused?
