- l800LEMMINGS, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1it should be out on the 9th following Steve jobs speech, apple is known for closing their stores during his speech that he talks about whatever innovative new product they've come out with. the speech finishes the apple stores reopen magically having that product. While this doesn't verify this, the fact that the original iphone can get the new 2.0 software on the ninth strongly suggests this

Something tells me thought that Apple would have given the cell companies the software a few weeks ago. True that the appstore is interesting but pricing and limitations kill the deal here.

If the iPhone ponle has 3G + GPS and no extras (dual camera for video calling/ fatser processor/ more ram....) then iPhone 1.0 market will still persist :)
If it is priced at $199, then it might not have GPS and only 3G is extra making the rumor credible! - dtkmike, on 06/04/2008, -2/+2clearly they're gonna offer a larger size model accompanied by the introductory line "well with all these apps on your iPhone your gonna need more space to store them all! so were also adding a[insert x GB here(my guess is 32GB)] model the iPhone line"
