- basye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21So will Comcrap cut us off for downloading too many iTunes movies???
- rusty_g, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11http://digg.com/apple/iTunes_Movie_Rentals_Coming_Soon one day ago....
- xOKxWhy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6These are not the movie rentals you are looking for.
- iheartartoo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Wrong topic, bud.
- jsdratm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4With netflix you can watch a movie instantly without any waiting. I'm sure Apple can do the same thing.

Are people THAT desperate for recognition and kudos from their peers?? - iFungus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Why not MacWorld?
WWDC might be SDK for iPhone/Touch - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3This seems like a really cool idea. The movies should be smaller than full 4.7 GB dvd files, but should still look good. In that case iTunes movie rental will take off.
- JoeLeo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You used to be able to see Report a Problem when you view your purchase history in the iTunes Store.
Now, when you click on Report a Problem the Web page that's returned is the same page sans the Report a Problem button.
Someone got called into work in a hurry, this weekend. - sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Takes a dingleberry to know one.
- Goodbyeworld, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2most of the time, apple will let something "slip" and it creates hype. not saying its on purpose, but it seems pretty effective.
- ibeetle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1First, it is a dupe. Second, nowhere in the article does it say where Steve Jobs announces... Or at the end of press conference Steve Jobs said, "Oh, and one more thing..."
Until the old turtle neck wearing one says it; it is just a rumor which pretty much makes it inaccurate. - MBHoy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This is pretty cool. Presumably you'll be able to rent a movie on your iPod Touch (in a wifi hotspot), plug it into your TV's inputs and watch your rented film, all without booting the computer, waiting for a rental to arrive, or going to a rental store.
Poo poo it all you like with this "DRM meets movies" junk, but I think that is pretty awesome. Can't wait to see pricing. - cinder, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1http://www.xkcd.com/307/
- agilligan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Nothing really new or surprising. Rumours have been around for over a year - and so far have been wrong.
http://www.thinksecret.com/news/0607itunesmovies.html - gamersedge, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3Can you say WWDC any better? Now if they announch 32 GB iPhones and iPod Touches, that will be the day.
- flipmeat, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3Well this is what happens when you mindwipe employees too often, they get sloppy.
- Alegoo92, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2If I'm going to rent a movie: I'd rather go out and get it rather than waiting for it to download.
But maybe it does that cool "only storing 30 seconds" thing that the VUDO (or something) does.. - da5id, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/08/itunes-7-4-1-ringtones-re-rename-workaround-discovered/
