iToner 1.0.2 Released!
blog.sciphone.net — Ambrosia ’s iToner has been upgraded to version 1.0.2. The new version fixes many bugs, and now includes iTunes 7.4.x support and playlist improvements. This shareware application is only $15, and is an easy way to install your own Ringtones from AAC or MP3 files that has been resistant to Apple’s recent iTunes upgrades.

- OS2Guy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1As an iPhone owner I can confirm this new release works nicely and the program itself is very slick. Simply start the program and you get an iPhone look-a-like, drag any MP3 or AAC into the window, add as many as you want. Connect your iPhone then hit "sync" on the iToner interface and like iTunes, it moves the sound files into the Ringtone section of your iPhone. I've taken snips of songs using Sound Studio (import an MP3, highlight the area you want to use as your ringtone, paste into a new SS window then save as MP3 or AAC file. Works beautifully). I've tried all seven of the current iPhone Ringtone program offerings and iToner simply works the best. Easy to use and it does all you need in just seconds. Highly recommended (and no, I am not affiliated with the company, just a fanboy who wants others to know about good Mac programs). The registered program does cost $15 but well worth it.
- tubeblender, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0This is a hack and not supported by Apple. What happened to your not supporting hacks?
(and no, I am not affiliated with the company, just a douche bag who doesn't know what a hack is...) - OS2Guy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This is not an hack to destroy the value of the iPhone, it is a third party application to enhance the value of the iPhone. Hack it to avoid the contracted service provider and you're hurting the value of the iPhone. I know you hate that but you'll get over it. Most Microsoft loving freaks do.
- tubeblender, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Hey douche bag, I am an Apple user. The "value" of the iPhone is not harmed in any way by hacking it. In fact, it is enhanced and more people will buy them because of the applications. Get over your idiotic self. You are hacking it to put ringtones on it for free just like me and everyone else so go sue yourself *****.
