- caliform, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's kind of a tight space to fit it in, but essentially, it's a novel app. It generates a 'fire and forget' application to use on an iSight-enabled computer, to run and install as a service. In the app, you can define what you want it to do; snap a shot at a failed login, or any login, a wakeup, a shutdown. You can run scripts or lock the computer in case the image changes, and I am working on something that tries to find if a face has appeared in the image.
Anyway, email if you would like a shot to be in the beta program, or leave a comment. - caliform, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I want to make sure it's clear that any comment on digg is read and considered, but a comment on my blog will have an email / website and make you more eligible.
- akidou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1thanks for letting me know, Sebastiaan
I'll digg you first ;-) - caliform, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I will decide that as the beta progresses. Being a poor student, it now looks like I am going to put it at a small fee.
- ireladd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hi, I'd love to be in on the beta. This sounds really promising. JustinLadd@gmail.com

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i think i'd really love a beta. detecting motion with your isight? that's just too cool
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sent an email.
what I really like about this prospective app, is that it might be really useful for small movie making at night when my imac is on and something is moving. what I am wondering is, will it be free? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Why is parent being modded down? Put me down for one ;)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0sign me up in advance...
