I don't know I'd go as far as that.
To be sure Microsoft has a FUD campaign against the iPhone, particularly based around claims that business won't want it, or it won't be good for business. Who could forget Ballmer puffing, braying, and bleating on the YouTube video? And that was only the start.
But as for what's "best" .... I'm pretty sure people could carry out any genuine business functions on something very much simpler and cheaper than what they're _currently_ using, let alone something as sophisticated as the iPhone. The crucial thing here will be not what is "best" for business, but what businessmen want. They will want the iPhone.
Cartoon of Ballmer with "iPhone killer":

I guess Apple's (Get a Mac, etc) and FOSS' (Badvista, etc) FUD attacks tell you another thing. Microsoft is going to do very, very well.

Microsoft's iPhone FUD attacks tell me one thing: the iPhone is going to do very, very well.
