- coheedcollapse, on 10/10/2007, -9/+19Is this really going to hit the front page?
Really? - nzknzknzk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Seems to work quite well, http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/8166/foo0tc2.png
- rebotfc, on 10/10/2007, -7/+15For all the closed minded haters, this app is great for taking screenshots of all the upcomming iphone apps being developed. No more will you have to rely on dodgy out of focus videos.
Basically if you ain't got something constructive to say get the hell out the apple section. - smurf22, on 10/10/2007, -6/+14This program will have many uses, like taking a screen shot of uhhhhh.... I got nothing
- britkev1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Nice and all but really needs a GUI attached to make it really useful.
- axle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Actually, this has quite a few uses for blogs like tuaw.com that want to display screenshots for various functionality they want to demonstrate. If you've been reading tuaw, up to now, they've been having to take photos with their camera, and then posting that image. You can imagine that he glare on the iphone makes that particularly difficult.
And maybe it's not a useful application for_you_, but it is certainly still important (and interesting) because it means that people are figuring out how to write more complex native apps for the iPhone. - chrillen, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8It's the iPhone on digg, what did you expect?
- CptZap, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3K thanks, keep us updated.
- moofer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I would click on your link, but I'm afraid of landing in some sort of space/time vortex, by looking at a screenshot of a screenshot utility.
- Rupan, on 10/10/2007, -9/+12WTF! You guys must be idiots or anti-apple people, because to me, running custom apps on the iPhone is still big news. And I dont even have one.
- rebotfc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Block the section then, was that so hard... oh wait, you're an imbecile.
- Daveecee, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3iPoor.com?
I think you are, somehow, mixing up phones with the internet. - wafu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3After some tweaking, you can get up to 6 frames A SECOND.. here's how to do it. Basically, you have to compile the source to change the output to .pdf, which outputs much faster (as it's the native image processing on OS X). Here's proof - video made from the .pdf outputs (keep in mind it's 6 frames a second, so it's a bit slow).

- moofer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1can you ssh with that hog?
- moofer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1But I wasn't asking you...
- zezerik, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0I'm still waiting for the iPhone to wipe my ass and make me breakfast

- IncognitoCraven, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1This is not Freshmeat. Stop karmawhoring with every nigglet of pointless Apple drivel.
- wikimart, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Screen Shot : http://www.fileegg.com/imageview.php?quickkey=839883C98BE96CB9&thumb=5
- moofer, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1And stay the hell off the front page?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2I have taken it upon myself to bury as lame any story with iPhone in it. They are great, but enough is enough. To paraphrase Groucho Marx, I like my cigar, too, but I take it out of my mouth every once in a while.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2WTF! You fanboys must be idiot or must be anti-most-of-the-mobile-manufacturer, because there are soo many people with Symbian based mobile who should know that their mobile phone too can take screenshots and yet you have not posted or dugg one story with a title "Mobile Phone(cheap ones) screenshot utility released 5 year ago"
By the way 126 million people would like to know that :-

really really wanna frontapaga ah. - yingjai, on 10/10/2007, -8/+3Digg is now known as iDigg. (Oh yeah, burried as lame.)
- AxiomShell, on 10/10/2007, -8/+2Wow ... digg is slowly becoming the Tucows/Softpedia of iPhone homebrew.
- floydax, on 10/10/2007, -10/+3WOW, an internet communications device with a screenshot utility?! Awesome !
- TaintedWisdom, on 10/10/2007, -9/+2"iPhone screenshot utility released"
Too bad it still can't take pictures rofl. - sruphil, on 10/10/2007, -11/+4This is awesome!
- SteveNojobs, on 10/10/2007, -11/+4Dammit.
I really thought my phone, the iPoor.com, had a competitive advantage over the iPhone because of a screenshot feature my phone has.
It looks like I'm out of business. - robwilkens, on 10/10/2007, -9/+1Burried as duplicate.. There was a story about the 'first iPhone app' yesterday which included information that it might be able to run other programs (i suppose including a screenshot). I suppose the next breaking story about this application for this phone would be that it runs vi or you can type ls and see a directory. _The breaking news was the first app was made, that was old_
- shorty9, on 10/10/2007, -12/+1Learn to take apart the iphone:
