- inactive, on 12/26/2008, -2/+24Wait, doesnt Apple need to release an actual product before someone can copy it? If the iPhone Nano isnt to be released for a month, then nobody is copying anyone.
Plus, all the articles about the iPhone Nano are rumors.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/156021/top_10_bigge ... (See item #7). - damircea, on 12/26/2008, -6/+19It looks really really ugly. The iPhone midget.
- t3hbagel, on 12/27/2008, -0/+11You sir, are retarded. The TITLE OF THIS STORY is "iPhone nano knockoffs"
- haentz, on 12/27/2008, -2/+12I hope the'll sue when Apple comes out with a knock-off of this thing...
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -2/+10This article needs more pictures of iphones.
- ouzome, on 12/27/2008, -1/+9You thought the non-landscape keyboard was small on the iPhone?
- inactive, on 12/26/2008, -5/+12and india, http://www.iphonenano.in
- Fduch, on 12/27/2008, -2/+9But the question is... can it Copy&Paste?
- HamNCheese, on 12/27/2008, -6/+13heh if you can't tell the difference between an iPhone and Windows Mobile, then I'm sure you'll be thrilled with whatever phone you get.
- calenerd, on 12/27/2008, -0/+6To use it as a phone of course, with the iPhone design.
- pjvdg, on 12/27/2008, -2/+7Where's the buy now button?
I wonder what price these things sell... - spookyttws, on 12/27/2008, -2/+6I don't see why anyone would wants a "smaller" iPhone. I mean the size of the screen holds a lot of the appeal. A thinner one, sure, but smaller? Not for me, at least.
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -7/+11Enough with the iphone Nano articles already!
- discopanda, on 12/27/2008, -1/+5Well done Thailand, well done
- TheWorm, on 12/27/2008, -0/+4"then nobody is copying anyone."
http://images.appleinsider.com/iphonenano-081226-1 ...
Someone is definitely copying something - phatphil, on 12/27/2008, -1/+5You're an idiot.
- Technopundit, on 12/28/2008, -0/+4Just a reminder:
EBAY + CHINA = RIPOFF
Don't order from sellers over there or you'll be sorry. - DrunkenPirate34, on 12/27/2008, -0/+4That is just two iPhone Nano's next to each other, how is that copying?
- HamNCheese, on 12/27/2008, -0/+4"Way cheaper" FTW
- themonkman, on 12/27/2008, -2/+6That's funny. The "nano" in this picture says "No internet". Who would want an iPhone that couldn't do internet browsing, even if it was devoid of flash?
- CaviMike, on 12/27/2008, -2/+5I want one.
- meghalc, on 12/27/2008, -1/+4I have an Iphone right now, but If i was gonna move to a smaller screen phone, i'd get the HTC Diamond instead.
- SenorCardgage74, on 12/27/2008, -2/+5Yeah, cuz if there's one thing that bugs me about my iPhone, its how gigantic and unwieldily it is.
- abrasion, on 12/27/2008, -0/+3It's absoloutely gigantic and unwieldly as a gym based mp3 player.
The nano 3 and 4g are acceptable on an arm band or in a pocket, the iphone not so much.
If they can get the size and weight down, even just 20% - it might still be usable in an am band or a pocket.
I (personally) find the iphone bloody huge, I want something smaller. - yacinebouatrous, on 12/27/2008, -1/+4copy and paste is for real phones, not for designers phones
- dullnation, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2OMG, I said iPhone aside, who buys the knockoffs! Did you seriously think (and you idiots that buried me) That this article is about the genuine iPhone?
- Dylson, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2*pulls out gun. puts gun in mouth. pulls trigger
- t3hbagel, on 12/27/2008, -1/+3Could just be preventing cybersquatting.
- Philbert, on 12/27/2008, -1/+3They look pretty impressive for knock offs.
- newstart, on 12/27/2008, -3/+5Guess who owns www.iphonenano.com and where it points to...
- meghalc, on 12/27/2008, -2/+4Who do you think manufactures the Iphone?
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -2/+4Who is digging you down? That's what damircea implied. The iPhone isn't ugly (neither are the knockoffs on that picture, if the performance suck that's another story..) but that's what he is saying since those knockoffs look the same. What damircea has demonstrated is that he talked out of his fanboyism.
- dizzay, on 12/27/2008, -1/+3These have been around for a few weeks/months already, it's basically the same OS that all bootleg chinese phones have.
- thecontinental, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2why not
- HappyScrappy, on 12/27/2008, -0/+2You'll never get an unlocked iPhone for $129. Hell, an unlocked dumbphone of decent quality and capability costs $200.
- spec209, on 12/27/2008, -1/+3iPhone OS and windows mobile? r u nuts?
- Technopundit, on 12/28/2008, -1/+2Wanna buy a bridge?
- deenoop, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1I want to be in that store. it's like any phone you dream up instantly materializes and then you can buy it. oh the possibilities.
- damircea, on 12/27/2008, -1/+2Why would you want to have such an ugly phone?
- abrasion, on 12/27/2008, -2/+3I think I speak for all of us (ok me) when I say we (I) don't care about a damned Iphone nano.
All we (I) ever damned well wanted, was a smaller version of the touch, small enough to go in a pocket at the gym so it's not too heavy but with a bigger screen than the previous 2 nano video editions .
Like I said months ago, just get the 3g nano, rotate it sideways and make the whole front a screen - I'd buy it in an instant :( - purebakingsoda, on 12/27/2008, -1/+2If Apple does announce an 'iPhone nano' and would sell it unlocked, I'd get one. But not if it's more than $129. It should be $99 or less with rebates. How about free with contract?
- gcman94, on 12/27/2008, -2/+3not nuts, read my reply to HamNCheese
- gcman94, on 12/27/2008, -2/+3no it was actually like they are much different, ive used them both. But iPhone isnt that special b/c everyone has it, and just like windows mobile faded away, the same might happen with iPhone, its now being sold at walmart, really!
- deenoop, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1i said this earlier. i'll say it again. this is a stupid stupid idea on apples part.
- macmcraeart, on 12/28/2008, -0/+1can you really make a knockoff of something that doesn't exist?
- GregJ, on 12/27/2008, -1/+2They have only just begun....
- algaeturd, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1"I want an oompa-loompa NOOOWWWWWW!"
See how whiny and lame that is? - Technopundit, on 12/28/2008, -1/+1The Chinese buy them.
- PhAndrew, on 12/28/2008, -1/+1i dont care if they are knockoffs, i want ittttt
- HamNCheese, on 12/27/2008, -1/+1Different strokes for different folks. Just becuase it's "just right" for you doesn't mean others wouldn't want it. Add to this Apple's need to constantly update the iPod line and bingo - another successful launch.
