No exchange support means little support in the workplace. So this is going to open up more doors in the workforce and the games are going to bring in more gamers with devs like EA and Sega on board.

The iPhone doesn't have nearly enough GPU, CPU or (especially) storage capacity. It will be like the DS game, but will be the second major development stage (complex ocean organism) as opposed to the DS game which will be the first stage (microscopic organism).

I imagine it'll be a very light weight version of Spore - but I expect the gameplay to be a bit more complex than the simple mobile version.
