- outsyder, on 10/10/2007, -8/+422Am I the only one confused by the Xbox in the title?
- dglasser, on 10/10/2007, -4/+262What a waste of paper.
- superjeff, on 10/10/2007, -6/+131Am I the only one confused by the (lol) in the title?
- hanapbuhay, on 10/10/2007, -1/+117Go Paperless, AT&T / Cingular has that option.
- Brew, on 10/10/2007, -3/+95Think maybe they could waste more time, money, human, and natural resources?
- maddonkey, on 10/10/2007, -7/+87oh well, kill another tree.
- convergent, on 10/10/2007, -7/+77The person who posted this thinks it's funny to make fun of the size of a 6 year old console.
- musicfreakcc, on 10/10/2007, -10/+67The environment is nonexistent in the mind and heart of AT&T.
- wafflez, on 10/10/2007, -2/+51http://macrochan.org/search.py?tag=Neutral%3AXbox%20is%20huge
- allancorbett, on 10/10/2007, -5/+47Could they not just offer to email you it in a PDF?
- tehpwnrate, on 10/10/2007, -10/+49Similarly, this article is a waste of tubespace.
- Willeth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+37It really would be the smart thing to do. You could even have it delivered straight to the iPhone in question.
- MBX1, on 10/10/2007, -18/+53at&t sucks
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+35Oh, I get it. I don't get it.
- socoolisme, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33I own an xbox and I don't get it.
- HA5TY, on 10/10/2007, -2/+33Wait...so it doesn't show what websites we were on.........
.....Good
lol - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+31Exactly what I was thinkng. Go paperless.
This is no surprise. I had bills like this with Sprint and Verizon and now with AT&T. It's called detailed billing. It has nothing to do with the fact that you are using an iPhone. Any PDA Cell ends up looking the same way, listng data usage and calls.
Oh yeah, this is cool and "different" because it's for iPhone and anything iPhone does is new and cutting edge... - oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+31think progressive. 100's of years ago, people across the world had to write to each other to communicate, now they're able to do it via the phone. think of all that paper that's been saved since that time! not buying it? bleh, me either.
- wheel, on 10/10/2007, -9/+38Buried as extremely lame.
- noahhoward, on 10/10/2007, -0/+25They do.
- timusca, on 10/10/2007, -7/+30Buried as inaccurate. I have a blackberry and get bills like this all the time! It has nothing to do with the iPhone. Just AT&T wasting energy. Cingular did this well before turning to the darkside too.
- noliberalbull, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21no to mention shipping... that many pages has to border on the limit for single stamp weighting
- ZzFDKzZ, on 10/10/2007, -2/+22This is nothing new. I have a Cingular 8525 and its around 70 pages long. Heck even when I had the 8125 2 years ago it was over 70 pages.
- HanSolo69, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19was it printed on super glossy, white "iPaper" though?
- AttackingHobo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+17I have a solution to the energy/gas situation.
1.Get an iphone
2.Learn how to write applications for the iphone
3. Write an application that constantly connects and reconects, downloading 1 kb of data.
4. At the end of the month get an imposibly masive bill.
5. Burn the bill as fuel in a steam engine.
6. ??????
7.Profit - PathDaemon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17So the T-Mobile ads were right about bills breaking people's houses. O_o
- mrdibs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15Oh it may not show it... But they know...
- fyrehart, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17Or have never been a /b/tard.
- morgrar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Well, it'd be a good time to switch to paperless billing.
- Willeth, on 10/10/2007, -6/+20*****, now I have to worry about trees clogging my tubes? Good job, Apple.
- andy2na, on 10/10/2007, -8/+22buried for crappy title
- weeeezzll, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15But then all of the interweb tubes might get clogged up with AT&T....errr...I mean at&t bills...
- okkinnear, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14Seems to me that it's the article writer's fault for not understanding his options and turning on paperless billing. He's the one wasting trees.
- jdavid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13well, now you know what the NSA knows
- sleepyness, on 10/10/2007, -11/+23They plant trees specifically to make paper. Once they chop them down, they just replant. It's not like they're killing 100 year old trees for paper, they PLANT certain trees. It's like a renewable resource. :P
- BalooUrsidae, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13It's AT&T screwing this up. As usual.
- geekologist, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Don't say that. AT&T will take that as a challenge...
- TdiFFRob6876, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Opt for the AT&T eBill option thus saving trees.
- KMehthas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11either that, or if you still want a (albeit smaller) bill, call 611 and talk to a rep. ask them to remove DATA VOLUME DETAILED BILLING and then you'll get just the call details, instead of all the text/data detail garbage that's making the bill so large.
- o2o2o2o2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Imagine if your ISP gave you a bill like this? Every link click!!!!
Good grief, just say internet $30 as one line. - bsmeteronhigh, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Silly people, don't you know AT&T gives all your juicy details to the government? Who knows what those little line items are? They do!
- Goatman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Not to mention, the bills are probably made from Recycled paper. I know alot of the bills I get in the mail say in fine print at the bottom of the page "Printed on 100% recycled paper"
- Me1000, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Wrong, they are used to put unnecessary information, or to be more descriptive!
- hanapbuhay, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Everything is logged nowadays... I'd rather know what AT&T is logging about me than hiding it.
- DrunkenSavior, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Hey, just pay your bill online. No more paper bills. And it takes less time than writing a stupid article about it!
- locojones, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Just another argument for the use of hemp as an industrial product. Growth to maturity in 6 months, produces a higher quality paper than tree pulp and for cheaper.
- JFetch, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9He just likes making 4 year old jokes that are no longer relevant.
- Junior612, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I agree, especially because of this quote:
"Apple's renown for elegance and simplicity has been ironically mocked by this ridiculous document of excess. "
Wtf? This is about ATT..... the bill has nothing to do with Apple. - vypergts, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10I'm willing to bet that absolutely none of you are ***** lumberjacks or paper mill workers. So you should all just STFU and not waste my time with your uninformed stupid opinions and oneupmanship.
- TheADOGuy, on 10/10/2007, -5/+12XBox in the title for better search results? Lame...and XBox 360 is smaller than PS3 so its PS3 Huge which means it big but has nothing on any of the pages? I don't get it.
