- MokaPot, on 03/16/2009, -4/+19Couldn't you just take a picture?
/s - waluigi14, on 03/16/2009, -0/+10It's a capacitive touch screen (It uses an electromagnetic field instead of pressure). Fingernails don't work.
- inactive, on 03/16/2009, -0/+8Draw pictures of New Jersey then!
- Gravey9, on 03/16/2009, -0/+6direct link to his site, more pics and videos.

- shitton, on 03/16/2009, -1/+6I wish I had any artistic ability - stuff like that can be so cool
- inactive, on 03/16/2009, -0/+4Oh! Oh! I want to see your work on Digg!
- seventoes, on 03/16/2009, -0/+4Huh? Stylus for iPhone?!
Google says it's true!
http://tenonedesign.com/stylus.php - Fubeman, on 03/16/2009, -0/+4That's nothing. Check out the Flickr page with many artists - all using this Brushes App. Some are quite impressive.
http://www.flickr.com/groups/brushes/pool/ - Hardataq, on 03/16/2009, -0/+4Will you please put up your paintings, or other art? I'm interested to see your artistic take on "smug".
- lowtolerance, on 03/16/2009, -0/+3the example paintings that come with the brushes app are far more impressive.
- MiDri, on 03/16/2009, -0/+3ZZZZZZZZZZZIIIIINGGGGGG!!!
- whyaay, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2Mash the keypad to get a special dialing wand?
- verkon, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2I's an iphone, wouldn't be any difference if he took a pivture
- dustation, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2i hope the iphones 3.5" screen is 'giant' enough for your penises
- Meocross, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1:( well there goes the fat finger solution
- L0NER, on 03/16/2009, -5/+6I love that grand central! feels like Im there.
Did he use a stylus or his finger? - FredFredrickson, on 03/16/2009, -1/+2Maybe it's just that I'm an artist myself, but I don't really see what's so particularly great about this set.
- ivosilva, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1There is a stylus for the iPhone.
- JudgeMonkey, on 03/16/2009, -1/+2I wouldn't go as far as to call them complete ***** regardless of the medium. Just do a google search for modern art. There's good stuff, of course. That's true with any genre and medium, but there's plenty of stuff that I WOULD classify as true, perfect, *****.
- NetworkShadow, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1I agree. I've done some art in Brushes also and posted it to this group.
- Hardataq, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1I think that's really cool. I'm sure if he said it was done on any other phone, this page wouldn't have half as many people wanting to challenge his talent.
- L0NER, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1True, pocket artist for windows mobile KICKS and my windows mobile has a stylus
- c8h8r8i8s8, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1something like 8 percent of kids do it
- timusca, on 03/16/2009, -1/+2I guess we should just stop painting nudes and take photos too.
- L0NER, on 03/17/2009, -0/+1I wouldn't say 'that's nothing' he caught really good motion and composition with sketch, the others are cool too, but don't belittle him.
- garlicdeath, on 03/16/2009, -0/+0I draw stick figures having sex. I call it art.
We're in the same bracket, my friend. - Latigoliath, on 03/16/2009, -1/+1You probably have one so stop whining and get a pencil and paper and start drawing dammit!
- ultrafez, on 03/16/2009, -2/+2Why is it such a big deal that someone has used a painting application? On any other device, nobody would care - but as it's on an iPhone, everyone raises their arms in the air and says "THIS IS AMAZING!"
- macmcraeart, on 03/16/2009, -2/+2no manet was the grand daddy of impressionism. he was painting smoking hot prostitutes and hanging them at the french salon when everybody else was painting mythological scenes. And today he would think what most everybody else thinks. Those aren't very good.
- chadwick77, on 03/16/2009, -2/+1haha
- electricsurf, on 03/16/2009, -3/+2I would say his finger considering he used an iphone.
- Meocross, on 03/16/2009, -3/+1Sharp Fingernails nuff said
- apathetique, on 03/16/2009, -5/+2You mean Monet?
- electricsurf, on 03/16/2009, -6/+3I don't know what everyones raving about? I've seen better. The people don't even have faces! /s
- cadmiumpaint, on 03/16/2009, -9/+5I guess its cool that he made "paintings" on an iPhone, but they really are kinda ugly. If these paintings were made with actual paint, we'd all say they were complete *****. Looks like some stuff that old ladies do at night classes at the county art complex. Goes to show technology has lowered aesthetic standards. We are now amazed that someone figured out how to accomplish a task on a mobile device with software more than we are with the actual results of the task.

You can get better results using a stylus and smartphone (plus you get the ability to create .gif animations on your phone).
Buried for being on the frontpage just because it happens to be on an iPhone. - SergeiGolos, on 03/16/2009, -7/+1Because taking a picture would be so much more creative.
- slapded, on 03/16/2009, -8/+1what would manet think today

What is Digg?
