iPhone Virus - It had to happen (PIC)

i40.tinypic.com — I was on the fence for awhile- whether or not to Jailbreak my phone. From what I read, this would be a painless process with no downsides. Guess not; now my iPhone is infected. Time to find an antivirus program that will let me clean off all the mess that this service found. This is what I get for trying to be a hacker.

  • GreatDrok, on 03/23/2009, -1/+3Because it is a fake virus warning designed to fool XP users. Given the number of XP users who run the default ugly theme it isn't surprising this sort of thing works. It doesn't matter what platform you're on, Linux, Mac, mobile browser, it always looks like it is on XP. Go to the address on any machine and it 'finds' the same infected files. Click anywhere and it downloads an installer exe file. Do not run it.

    They just want you to click the link and install their malware while making you think you're cleaning your machine.

    This is not a virus for iPhone, jailbroken or not. It is a scam.
