iPhone Gmail Glitch, download a billion e-mails?

flickr.com — I was checking my Gmail using Mail on my iPhone last night and almost fell out of my chair when I seen the number of e-mails it was about to download. Has anyone else ever seen this? No, it didn't download ANY e-mail but I still wonder where that random number came from. No, I DO NOT have that many e-mails in my Gmail, rofl.

  • navinsamuel, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Had the same problem. Resolved it by setting the Recent (Under GMail (Your Account) -> Advanced) option to off! This is on by default and causes the iPhone to download all your recent messages!
