theiphoneblog.com — Seems like when I bought my AM/FM Radio, I became the owner. When I modified it to perform as a Short-Wave radio, the manufacturer did not have the right to download an upgrade, and turn it off, on the premise that it was receiving short-wave stations. The same thing applies when I purchase an iPhone. When I buy the iPhone, I own it.

  • OS2Guy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Read your license agreement - you AGREED to it when you BOUGHT the iPhone. Stop whining crybaby crap. You can do whatever you want to the iPhone but if you f**k it up then don't expect to go back to Apple and whine "fix my iPhone". What is wrong with you people?

Seems like this is a fraudulent action by Apple. Seems like Apple should be liable to all persons whose iPhone has been disabled through malicious intentional damage caused by an Apple upgrade.
