- kkiran, on 04/09/2008, -0/+2Folks at ZiPhone? I thought it is a one man army! If this is the chip being used : that means a lot of potential coming to the iPhone! I already visualize iPhone prices tumbling down on eBay and off Apple's shelves! Customer beware!
- codewater, on 04/09/2008, -0/+2Wohoo! We already have 3.5G in all major cities in Sweden (including my own), this is the best rumor of the week! :)
- dariusperkins, on 04/10/2008, -0/+1Cheap publicity comment aside, you have a good point. According to Macrumors, the SGOLD3 isn't even the same chip as the SGOLD3H anyway:

Speculation is reaching fever-pitch. - pwnies, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1Any idea on what the power drain will be on the S-GOLD3 chips?
- kolais, on 04/09/2008, -1/+1It very well might be just another count of Zibri's cheap publicity. The actual disassembly ( http://i27.tinypic.com/15o759x.png ) shows not only the reference to S-Gold3, but also to S-Gold1 (first gen. Infineon chip) that was never used in the iPhone. So the code is likely to be just a part of Infineon library that supports more than one their platform.
