- djtripp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a good idea for those who sleep in the same room as their computer, or need more darkness for whatever reason. The light on that thing is big and pretty bright. It's not a major upgrade, but it is a desirable upgrade.

- TVarmy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0PC guys, you could do this by installing a resistor between the motherboard and the Sleep LED. If you want it just when it's dark, I guess you could set up a solar cell, relay, and a bunch of wiring. It should also work on a mac, but I'd just wait for an update...

- castufari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Apple finds ways to reduce the lights while PC users find ways to add more. My neighbor has a PC in his living room that has lights on the case fans, the front of the case, the bottom as well as on the access side through the clear window. It was cool for the first 3 minutes, now when I pass his place on my morning run there is this eerie glow coming from there.
- clubgus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn Hurry up Apple on this My iBook is killing me, it's like a Lighthouse in my room in the dark and I a'int getting any sleep and they can also Work on the Power light its so bright at night, I don't give a Crap if the light is Yellow or Orange or Purple for that matter it has to be turn off!!, all i know is I have to leave the laptop lid open to fix the light blinking problem, unfortunately leaving the Lid open makes the HDD seek every 5 minutes, and pulling the power cable out drains the battery, its sooooooo spooky! having a ibook in the same room.
