Here are a few of our favorites from the latter category and hand-picked for maximum weirdness..

  • madpainter, on 01/02/2009, -1/+3RjDj is actually a pretty amazing app. If you put it on with noise cancelling ear phones and then go about doing what ever you noramlly do, it produces a tonal response to your actions, sounds and speed. It's very zen like in the respect that you begin to sense things around you and every day sounds that your brain normally blocks out. I put it on when I am working in the shop.

    This is the type of new application that makes the iphone so interesting, but frankly I get tired of trying to wade through all the other crap apps, zippo lighters, fart machines, and hold steady buttons, that populate the Apple app store just to find the one or two completely different and interesting apps. Apple needs to think a little more like department store and keep the better stuff up front where the real buyers can find it and put the crap in some hole in the basement where the freaks can find it and play to their hearts content.

    If I want or need to fart, I don't think I need a Iphone to do it.

    PRO tip, try it when RPGing with some friends, nothing like a paladin trying some feat, only to botch with a 1, WAWAWAAAAAAAA

  • acnotdc, on 01/04/2009, -0/+0All my friends have their ipod touches, and I go, "Dude, show me some of your awesome apps!" and they pull out the Zippo Lighter, flipping it open and closed, all excited. Cool at a concert, yes, but not as a toy. Pretty ridiculous
